Chemistry, my best subject in school. There is only one person who can keep up with me, and unfortunately it's Sasuke. The one and only Uchiha who I slept in a bed with together. I still cannot believe that this is permanently on my mind. Why is his damn face always appearing in front of my inner eye?
Anyways, in Chemistry I can relax and laugh at those who are too stupid to solve an easy chemical equation. Poor Naruto, he and science are no friends! But it's his own fault. I on the other hand am living to beat Sasuke in at least on subject. He is better in ANYTHING. School, sports, friends, hell even boys! I am still shocked that he got more phone numbers than I have. But now is my chance. Sasuke is in the front, solving a question about organical chemistry.
C'mon fail, fail, fail! Please God, when you are really existing let him FAIL!
I know I'm being mean, but I want to be better than Mr. Perfect. Just for one time. . .
I stared at the blackboard and groaned. Of course he wouldn't fail.

Why, Sasuke Uchiha? That was my last chance, you and I are even.
"Miss [Surname]?" Kakashi-sensei called out to me and I looked at him uninterested.
"Yes," I answered and he gave me a closed eye smile.
"Would you like to solve the next equation?" He asked and I nod and stood up. Sasuke passed me giving me a smirk that said 'I know exactly what you were thinking'.
It was an easy task, at least for me.

I grabbed the chalk and wrote down my solution.
H2SO4 + H2O » HSO4 - H3O+
There, wasn't difficult, was it? I went back to my seat, or at least I tried. I just heard clapping from a certain masked man and turned my head in his direction.
"Very good, [Surname] and Uchiha! You will be a team then." He announced and my jaw dropped to ground.
What is he talking about? Me and Sasuke a team?!
Sure, Sasuke and I are good friends, but when it comes to chemistry we are bitter rivals!
"Sensei, what do you mean?" I ask him in hope he will not utter those words.
"You and Sasuke will be partners in our new project. Neutralization!" Kakashi says enthusiastically and I just sweat-dropped. He must love this subject more than I do!
"The other teams are Uzumaki Naruto and Haruno Sakura, Yamanaka Ino and Nara Shikamaru, Hyuuga Neji and Rock Lee, Hyuuga Hinata and Inuzuka Kiba, Sai and Tenten and Gaara and Akimichi Choji!"
Well, at least I can say that I have a competent mate, but still we are Chemistry Rivals and Best Friends! Nothing more! I think . . .
