Family Comfort (Cancelled For Rewrite)

Chapter 8: Family Bonding

 Today, the family decided to go to an amusement park, more specifically. The one the parents had gone multiple times when they were still teenagers. They walked to the park, the children walking with a prep in their step. They arrived and Kaito almost zoomed off again but was grabbed by the arm by Taka before he could.

"Kaito! You should stop trying to run far away from us!" Taka scolded pulling his son back gently.

"I'm sorry dad... I'm just really excited..." Kaito apologized.

"It's okay... just don't run off like that again. It's dangerous out there."

"So gang, where are we going first?" Mondo asked.

"Roller coaster!" Tenko yelled cheerfully.

"Yeah! Roller coaster!" Kaito added.

"Sure! But we might not be able to go on most of the rides..." Taka said.

"Why not father?" Kirumi asked.

"Most of the rides have a height chart to make sure you're tall enough to ride." Mondo answered.

"But why?" Tenko asked.

"So that it is safe!" Taka replied.

"Let's go on the rides already!" Kaito was getting impatient.

"Okay let's go!" Mondo said.

 The family went on most of the rides that they could, of course the children aren't tall enough to ride the big roller coaster. They were now walking through the shopping area.

"Can we get cotton candy?" Tenko asked as she was pulling Taka's arm.

"Of course we can! Just one though." Taka answered.

"One for all of us or we have to share one?" Kaito asked.

"You all can have one each." Taka replied. "Mondo, can you buy them?"

"Yeah! What flavor do you want kids?"

"Strawberry!" Tenko said.

"Green apple! Like Glob!" Kaito said.

"The normal flavor is fine with me." Kirumi said.

"Alright! You all sit over there and wait." Mondo said before he walked off.

While they were waiting, they saw some familiar faces nearby.

"Maki roll!?" Kaito said when he saw a black haired girl.

"Kaito?" Maki turned around to see her friends.

"Hello Maki!" Tenko waved and so did Kirumi.

"Oh hey Taka." Fuyuhiko said as he walked up to the family. "You decided to go to the amusement park too?"

"Yes! We just wanted to have some family bonding!" Taka answered.

"Where's Mondo? Did he decide to stay at home?" Peko asked.

"I'm right here." Mondo said behind her, holding some cotton candy.

"Oh fu- you scared me you as- jerk!" Fuyuhiko said noticing him.

"Yay! Cotton candy!" The children cheered as they ran up to their father.

"Cotton candy?" Maki asked.

"It's so good!" Kaito said after getting a handful in his mouth. "Do you want some Maki Roll? It's green apple!" He said giving her some.

"Um... Okay... Thank you." Maki said taking the piece slightly blushing.
