Chapter 10: Sick Raven

 It was a late night; Mondo had just come home from his work. He had decided to work extra hours and it was about midnight, all the kids and his husband should be asleep.

 He walked up the stairs and got to his and Taka's bedroom, he opened the door expecting to see a adorable raven sleeping but he wasn't in there. He then realized he was doing something he hated and went to the office, his suspicions were true and his spouse was doing paperwork late at night.

"Oh... welcome home sweetheart..." Taka said drowsily went he noticed Mondo by the door; it was obvious he had been working for a long time.

"Sweetie..." Mondo said softly as he walked over. "I told you to not overwork yourself..."

"I know... but these are very important."

"You say that to all paperwork."

"Because I think all of them are important."

"You should get to bed."

"I just need to finish the remaining ones first..."

"No, you can do that tomorrow."

"No, just a little more-"

"No."

"..."

"You'll get sick if you do anymore of these late at night."

"But-"

Before Taka could object, he got picked up by Mondo and carried back to their room.

"I need to work!" Taka tried to get off.

"No." Mondo said as he continued walking. "Let's have a nice warm bath and go to sleep. You can do them later."

"Okay..."

 They both had a nice relaxing bath together and went to sleep. Taka had woken up at three in the morning to continue his work, but since he had done this many times before Mondo knew what he was up to.

"You ain't getting out of this bed to do work sweetie." Mondo whispered to his husband while he was struggling to get out of his arms.

"I need to work..." Taka insisted.

"Sleep is more important." Mondo said and move Taka to the side, making him further away from the door.

"Mondo..." Taka whined.

"Cuddle cuddle."

"... fine."

 Morning comes around and Taka woke up still in Mondo's arms, today he didn't need to work so he doesn't need to wake him up. He want to get out of bed even though he was comfortable close to his beloved.

"Mondo... let me go..." Taka said as he gently nudge the sleeping man.

"You feel hot Taka." Mondo murmured out.

"Hot...?"

"Hot... like you're sick or something..."

"..."

"HOLY FUCK ARE YOU SICK!?"

 Mondo suddenly yelled and made Taka flinched, he frantically got out of bed and ran in the bathroom, he got out with an infrared thermometer. He used it on Taka, it shined red showing that he was sick.

"FUCK YOU'RE SICK!" Mondo yelled.

"It's just a small cold sweetheart..." Taka tried to reassured him but then let out a small sneeze.

"FUCK NO I HAVE TO MAKE SURE YOU DON'T HAVE FUCKING CANCER OR SOMETHING!"

"Calm down Mondo..."

"LET ME GO GET THE DOCTOR STAY IN BED!"
