I quickly got dressed as i think about my mother's announcement last night. My own apartment? This is all too soon. I just received my first summer vacation. I want to enjoy it not get away from it. I understand the roughness of this town but damn. She's basically sacrificing herself for my safety. I can't leave her alone in that town. Its too dangerous. I have to think about this. I walked out of the house to see my buddies waiting for me.

We walked down the sidewalk passing by the kids playing with an abandoned car. Smashing the windows, tearing the tires off, & stomping on it. What has this generation gone too?
"That party was banging last night! I mean the DJ was playing my shit" Mickey exclaimed.
"Yeah, before the police raided it out" baby boy added.
"What happened?"
"After you left, some asshole called the police and said someone was carrying drugs" t-bone explained.

I laughed "alright."

"So, therefore you need new clothes" t-bone agreed.
I laughed "Whatever."
We checked out & payed for everything. Of course, they stole some of it. I don't know how they do it. We walked down the sidewalk carrying the bags.
"T, can i talk to you about something?"
"Sure, wassup?" he said.
"My mom bought me an apartment & she wants me to move in it sometime during the summer."
"Where's the apartment?" He asked.
"Far away from here."
"Aye man, that's good for you. You need to get your own place. Can't be having your moms walked in on you fucking hoes" he laughed.
"I don't know."
"Well, what's the problem?"
"I don't want to leave her alone here. I want her to move in with me."
"Whoa, whoa you want your moms to move in with you?" He questioned.
"Its gotten too dangerous man. I can't leave my mother alone in that side of town. It wouldn't be right."
"Your moms gave you the apartment for a reason man. She's sick of you sleeping on her couch. Its time for you to be a man & leave" he said.
"Yeah, I guess."
"Come on, we'll drop these off & go to my crib" he said.

We all laughed at t-bone's response. Big momma took off her shades & gave me a seductive look.
"What about you? Are you coming?" She asked.

She smiled "good, be there at 8."

She put her glasses back on & flashed a smile. She walked off with her shiny boots.
"Damn, she got a fat ass" mickey said.
I laughed "that's ridiculous, man. Aren't fucking tasha from next door?"
"So? She ain't got a ass like momma's" he said.
