The sound of the soulless music hardly registered in the boy's ears, crimson orbs flickering around the jumbled crowd of royals as his high heels clicked loudly against the marble flooring of the large room. His blond hair was neatly trimmed, slicked back with a small amount of scented gel, a lavish mask covering the top half of his face. The deep red and black fabric was only slightly obstructing his vision as he huffed in annoyance, clicking his tongue before stalking off towards the refreshments, hips swaying. Filth. All of them. How could he allow himself to marry one of those pathetic excuses of Alphas? All he had heard was their nonsense mantra about his riches and status, was it too much to actually care for his looks, or even his personality? To be fair, not one person there, aside from the staff and his parents, had ever met him, or knew he was there for that matter.

His ebony dress swayed while he angrily walked, frowning and allowing himself to grab a drink. How stupid. He was supposed to mate with one of these scum the next day, and he didn't even have a say in the matter. Why was he being forced into a passionless marriage for the sake of heirs? He was only eighteen, he shouldn't have to worry about pups for at least a few more years, yet his parents never backed down from what they desired. Well, his mother didn't. She insisted he find a mate before his nineteenth birthday, and when he refused, she schemed for yet another tournament. She had always loved a good fight. Now, here he was, nervously drinking away his worries the night before his future was determined. All the Alpha's in the room would be competing for his hand in marriage. The idea made him sick.

A body barreled into his own, the small prince gasping and preparing himself for impact, until two firm hands gripped his waist, pulling him back upright. "I-I'm so sorry!" Katsuki snarled, the musky scent of Alpha rolling off the man's body making him want to claw his brain out. Idiot. "I didn't see you there!"

"You fucking-!" The Omega stopped dead in his tracks, crimson eyes meeting a broad chest as he slowly brought his gaze up to see the man that had slammed into him. This wasn't a normal Alpha. This man was a prime. His Omega preened happily inside his mind at the thought of being so close to such a powerful being, swallowing hard and adjusting his expression. "Such a Deku," he huffed, crossing his arms and staring menacingly at the much larger male standing in front of him. His soft appearance certainly didn't match his identity, what with the cute freckles dotting his face and his messy curls. The Omega rolled his eyes at his apologetic smile, taking a long sip of his wine and adjusting his attire tediously.

"What... What is your name?" He questions shyly, rubbing the back of his neck and grinning stupidly. Katsuki tuts, crossing his arms and tapping his heel in annoyance. "You're not too friendly, are you? I'm Izuku Midoriya, it's nice to meet you!"

"I can't say the same," he sneers, knowing the man before him was surely just like the others. "Any man trying to win an Omega they've never met truly cannot even call themselves as such. How pathetic you are, you must be after riches, or is it the status you desire?" He taunts, growling with every word he utters to the unfazed Alpha. "Out of my face, you filth." He dismisses, waving his hand and bring his glass up to his perfectly painted lips.

"You know nothing of me," Izuku says calmly. "How can you judge me off of what my competitors do? It was not my choice to be here." He defends himself, voice deep and eyes focused on the tiny male offending him. "And what about you? The other Omegas are trying their hands at seducing an Alpha out of the competition, should I assume the same for you? Just another Omega trying to get bred by a stranger?" He mocked, the blond practically fuming with anger.

"How dare you say such things to me!" He growled lowly, crimson eyes darkening as the need to hit the Alpha grew with every second that ticked by. After a few moments, the man laughed, patting his spiky hair calmingly.

"I'm joking," he said gently, grabbing himself a drink and sipping leisurely. "Truthfully, my parents sent me here. I was supposed to take the throne on my twenty-fifth birthday, however queen Mitsuki sent news of the prince's betrothal trial to my father..." Izuku sighed, gulping down the rest of the wine in his glass before setting it down with a slightly agitated slam. "Now, instead of the kingdom going to me, it shall be going to my younger brother... Unless I lose, of course. Then I'll still be next in line for power, but I'm the only prime here... Sadly, I'll surely win."

"Why not throw the competition?" Katsuki suggested.

"My parents would know, I've spent my entire life training under the guidance of the head of our royal guard. I'm the most trained Alpha here." He said, grabbing yet another drink.

"You really don't want to marry a man you've never met..." Katsuki smiled softly, raising his glass to the Alpha's and clinking them together. Maybe he wasn't so bad after all. He reached for the greenette's mask, playfully pulling it off and studying his face intently. He had bright green eyes, accentuating his messy curls perfectly. He wore an expensive looking suit, his tie done clumsily, carelessly even. He frowned, setting both his wine and the man's mask down and reaching to fix it. His small hands worked with ease to properly tie it, once done fixing his wrinkled clothes and looking up, face turning pink as he realized how close they were. He quickly moved away, Izuku's cheeks filling with color as he smiled warmly at the tiny Omega.

"So, why are you here?" The greenette asked, staring at his little hands that were now wrapped back around his wine glass. How cute.
