Hayami's routine was pretty much put back to normal over the past two weeks and even though it had only been a little while since she had seen the owl-like man she had to admit, she missed his presence. She missed his upbeat personality and how he brought the biggest smile on Earth to Mitsuko's face. The young girl really adored Bokuto with every fibre in her body, she had been longing for a fatherly figure for as long as Hayami could remember and now the little girl had hope. Hope constantly shines in her eyes and Hayami noticed this every time, she just wondered if Bokuto did too.
Lately Hayami had been completely dumped with work, which wasn't anything out of the blue but she just wished something new would shake up her routine a bit.
Her fingers had just finished typing away at her keyboard as she finished the final report for this week. She was planning to try and sign a contract with another big charity to try and boost the number of people their services would be able to help. The other charity was put in place to help out dads who had been left with their children either because the mother had passed during childbirth or because she was not fit to be a mother so the father was given custody of/right to care for the child(ren). The head of the charity had also agreed and finalised the deal so all Hayami has to do was send the other charity some of their documents all compiled into one with short summaries of each beneath them.
She had now decided to drag her tired body to the kitchen to cook some food for her and Mitsuko before eating it and then retreating back to her room, making sure to tuck Mitsuko in her bed before she did so.
Around an hour into the night Hayami heard her bedroom door creak open and when she rolled over to look she saw her daughter holding her favourite blanket whilst sniffing.

"What's wrong Mitsu?" I turn my bedside lamp on as she shuffles her feet across my room and then stops by the side of my bed. She doesn't say anything as she tugs at my duvet so I lift it up and let her climb in. She cuddles up to my chest and I start stroking her hair whilst humming a song softly so that it sends her to sleep but isn't loud enough to keep her awake.
