I STEPPED SLIGHTLY BEHIND, the Dark Triad as Lord Dante interrogated him.

I saw how he glared at me with fuming anger, As I scoffed playfully.

Vanica stared at her nails, before raising her head to glance at her brother. "Brother, Am I even supposed to be here?"

Vanica whined softly, As Dante-sama glanced at his sister. "You can leave if you please, Vanica. [y/n] you did a great job on capturing him."

"Thank you, Lord Dante." I bowed my head slightly, my tiara tipping over.

"Now, Oscar Kaile. I asked you a question, Why don't you answer it?" Dante darkly said, As Oscar shivered from the intense mana.

I placed a hand on Vanica's shoulder, As I raised a brow when I felt her tense up. I glanced up realizing it was Zenon-sama.

I flinched, taking off my hand quickly. Turning to Vanica-sama, "We should go [y/n]-chan, it's boring here."

She dragged me out of the dungeons, We went to the courtyard where we hangout other than the lounging room.

I saw a familiar pink haired girl, shaking my head. 'She's everywhere I go. At this point, I won't be suprised if she stalks me.'

Vanica eyed the female before speaking, "What are you doing here?"

The female quickly flinched turning to us, Standing up. "M'lady."

"I've decided to rest here for awhile, as the ambiance is peaceful." Flora honestly spoke, As I gently tugged at Vanica's sleeve.

"Don't mind her." I muttered, As Vanica glared at her for a moment. We both walked away from the courtyard, entering the castle again.

"It seems like you dislike her Vanica-sama." I spoke cautiously, As she spared me a glance.

"Didn't you heard that she's been spreading rumors about you? It made it seem like you were the bad person." Vanica sighed, Ruffling her dark locks.

"Did you kill the one who talked about the rumors?" I asked quietly, As she glanced at me before nodding.

"I did. Anyways, Do you have any plans on getting a disciple?" Vanica changed the topic, As I sighed.

"Can't see anyone worthy enough to get the devil's powers. They must prove themself first, I guess." I thought aloud, As Vanica nodded.

"You shouldn't really be picky, You can always get the powers back if you'd like." Vanica chimed, Placing her arms behind her head.

"I wonder what brother even wants with the male you captured." Vanica gazed at me in hope I might know something.

"Maybe to gain more control of the citizens? But we've already established a stricter rule and given how they act they must be scared of us." I voiced out my opinion, As Vanica agreed.

"They should be, You looked so good in that dress yesterday though [y/n]-chan!" Vanica complimented, As I felt like it was genuine.

"I guess so." I shyly rubbed my nape, "I remember! You should wear this new uniform I just got." Vanica said, quickly dragging me towards her chamber room.

She flicked open the lights, As she made me sit on her bed. A sweet scent can be smelled throughout the room, As it was definitely luxurious and filled with different furniture that fits her taste.

"Here [y/n]-chan try it!" She pulled out a black uniform, As I reluctantly grabbed it. Walking towards the restroom to change.

I wore it, surveying how I look with the mirror. It was practically the same as my old one, but with a skirt this time.

I went out the restroom, As Vanica clasped her hands. "It looks perfect! I designed it myself."

My lips tugged upwards, As Vanica catched a glimpse of my smile, clearly suprised.

'That smile.. Is genuine.' Vanica thought, as it was usually different from my other ones which was fake. As soon as Vanica finished fixing the other parts of the clothing as we went to the couch.

"Ne, you're always partnered up with Zeno at missions right? How's my little brother?" Vanica brought up the topic, As I saw how she was clearly curious.

"He's clearly strong, Though he doesn't really need help most of the time. As I don't even know why he still accepts to go with me on those missions." Vanica hummed, Before taking a sharp glance at me.

Vanica said she has matters to attend to as I went out of her chamber, Walking through the hallways. I sensed a bit of mana, As I glanced at the corner.

Narrowing my eyes, I slowed down my pace before cautiously looking back. 'What was that? A spy perhaps.'

I thought inwardly, My expression was neutral and unreadable. As I looked around.

The air shifted slightly, shaking my head. Maybe I should cast a barrier, for safety purposes.

Though I'm not scared to go against whoever that was, I turned around meeting with Lord Zenon.

I tilted my head downwards slightly, as my tiara tipped over. Before I casually went past him, 'If it is a spy, They must've heard my conversation with Vanica.'

I clicked my tongue, "[y/n]." I halted in my steps, turning around.

"Yes m'lord?" Zenon's eyebrows furrowed, As I was always too formal and cautious in nature.

"Join me for a walk." He quietly uttered, As my eyes widened slightly before nodding.

"I'll follow." I responded, before turning around again. 'Should I go report that spy to Dante-sama, But I'm clearly not sure if it was a spy. But there's a high possibility it is. It was in the shadows so it was hard to make out who it was.'

I sighed softly, before following Zeno-sama to the gardens.
'The battle is getting near, It won't be long before I see you again..'
