Chapter 2

Midari POV:
"Hey, did you guys hear," Runa said?  "What," Kaede asked.  "That new girl, y/n l/n. She gambled against Mary Saotome and won. But here's the kicker. When Mary said she couldn't pay up, she told her to stab herself." 

"WHAT?!" I shot up. There's someone like me here? Finally, maybe I'll be able to have some real fun.  "Yea, apparently she got all excited too. Mary fell to the ground, and she sat on her lap. She was getting all hot and bothered over the idea of Mary getting stabbed. She reminds me of you, Midari."  Heh, another freak? I've got to check this kid out.

"And where do you think you're going? This meeting hasn't started yet."  "Shut up four eyes. You already know where I'm going."  "Tch, you could at least wait till the end of the meeting. She isn't going anywhere."  "Too late, I'm way too excited."

Your POV:
I'm so hungry. I've been waiting forever.  "Did you hear about that girl over there? She's totally crazy. She tried to get Mary to stab herself as a way to pay up after losing in a gamble."  "Really?! I was thinking about gambling against her because she's new, but no way. If she wins, she'll definitely try to stab me too." 

Tch, I knew I shouldn't have done that. I just couldn't control myself. Now I won't make any friends. I was really looking forward to getting along with everyone too. "Yo!"  Huh, who's this?  "Yes?"  "The name's Midari Ikishima. I heard about you. You're pretty crazy, and I like that. Gamble with me."  "I-, huh?" 

Isn't she scared of me? When everyone learns who I really am, they all shun and ostracize me. So, why isn't she doing the same thing?  "You want to gamble with me?"  "Yea, I said that, didn't I?"  "You did, but..."  "But what?" 

"Normally, when people find out about what I'm like, they try to avoid me. So I don't know why you would want to gamble with me. Honestly, I feel like you're trying to lure me into some big prank in an attempt to make me leave."  "Huh?"  She went into her bag, pulled out and gun, and pointed it at me.

  "Why I want to gamble with you? I'm just like you, that's why. It's been a while since I've had real fun. And I think I can have some real fun with you."  Someone like me? Really? Is she lying, or does she actually want to have some fun? If so, then this will be good.
