After skipping school for a few days I finally went back. "Y/n, you're back! What happened, are you okay?" "I'm fine. I was just a bit sick. I'm better now though." "That's good. If you want, I can help you catch up with everything you missed during lunch." "Really? Sure, let's do it." "Okay, don't forget."
"You're not trying to replace me are you?" "What? No, never, Dari." "Hehe, I know. It's nice seeing you socialize more." "Heh, yeah." "Are you sure you're okay to be in school? You can go home." "No, it's fine. I had to come back sometime."
The day went by slow, slower than usual. Maybe I was focusing on the time too much. I should've listened to Midari. I don't to be here anymore. "Y/n!" "Huh, uh, yes?" "What's the answer?" "Um, 3." "Correct, seems you were paying attention."
Ring. "Don't forget to finish pg.87 for homework." "Y/n, you ready?" "Uh, yea. Can Midari join us?" "Of course!" We all went to lunch. Midari even helped me with my work. I never realized how smart she actually is.
School ended and Midari and I were about to walk home. As we were walking out the door we saw my parents standing there. We stared at each other for a bit until my mom came and hugged me.
"We've been so worried, Y/n. We're so sorry. We shouldn't have thrown you out. If you two want to be together you can. We support you." My father joined in on the hug. "Please come home. Your friend can come over if you want."
I started crying along with my parents. "I'm sorry too." "You don't need to be sorry. You did nothing wrong," my mom said. My dad motioned for Midari to join the hug. "No thank you. This seems more like a family thing." "You're family, now join."
Midari joined the hug. It felt like we hugged and cried forever. Midari started coming over more and more. My parents had completely accepted our relationship.
