Everything is different now

Here goes nothing... I guess - Chapter 1

Well I guess I should start off by introducing myself. Hi, I'm Karune Azaki. I recently enrolled into a college academy for the magical and gifted, Void's Light academy to be specific. Well this is my story so sit tight, okay?..

As I walked through the doors it seemed pretty normal, eveyone was wearing the uniforms with the signature logo of a star in a 'void', and being pretty normal for the most part. Aside from the floating books, and magical talents being flashed left and right. "This is gonna be so draining pretty soon." I quietly mumbled to myself.

"Karune Azaki, if I'm not mistaken." A tall and slender man said to me before reaching out his hand. "Oh yes- that's me!" I shook his hand before letting out a small chuckle to sort of break the tension. "So Karune will you be needing a tour or do you think you can manage by yourself?" He asked. "Oh yes I'll definitely be needing a tour, sir!" He quickly signaled for me to follow him as he showed me around the school which was also pretty normal, it had everything a normal school would have aside from all of the different teachings and studies given here. After the tour he showed me to my dorm which I currently had all to myself which was quite satisfying to me due to the fact that there is usually 4 people in one dorm.

"Here is your key- and do NOT lose it or you will be given a consiquence." he looked at me with a serious look this time instead of his happy smile. "Oh of course sir I have no intention of losing it." I gave a nervous smile. "I do have a question though sir, when will I begin class and recieve my schedule?" He looked at me completely surprised before letting out a response "Oh yes I had almost forgotten, you will begin tomorrow and I have you schedule on me now!" He handed me a piece of paper with everything I needed to know on. "Thank you sir I'll be fine on my own for now." He looked at me with a sort of relieved expression and chuckled before walking away.

I plopped down on my bed and let out a long sigh "Maybe It'll be worth it..?" I ask myself. It's gonna be okay that's something I can garuntee... I dosed off and had quite a restful night until I woke up at the break of dawn. "This is gonna be a good day." I say to myself quietly. I got in the shower and go dressed in our carbon black uniform before putting on a soft cologne. I checked the mirror to see if I looked good or not for obvious reasons and noticed one thing was missing... then it hit me a ring! I went to my ring and casted a small spell to turn it into a bunch of obsidian spider wrapped around my entire middle finger. "It's lovely.." I quickly say to myself before heading to my first class.

"Huh my first class at this school and it's only magic control... that isn't what I expected for me of eveyone although I suppose I chose to enroll here.." I was quickly cut off by a very rushed boy he was kind of tall with brown hair and looked very tired. "A-Are you okay..?" I asked the strange boy. "As a matter of fact I am not okay, can't you see how exhausted I am?!" He barked at me. "Well at least I asked?.." I said very softly. "Yeah I guess you did...I'm sorry I was just scared of being late again, I've never seen you before is this your first day?" He asked with a sorry look on his face with a soft smile. "As a matter of fact it is my first day." I responded with a reassuring smile. "Oh well I'll give you a bunch of tips then on how to survive here! However we should really be heading in before we're both late!". "You're quite right." I say before opening the door and taking my first step in.
