A/N: I'll write another fluff piece soon I promise

TW: For abusive undertones

"No I'm sorry! I'm sorry! Please!"

"I can't believe you kissed him! After all we've been through!"

"Bryan I promise it won't happen again--"

"OUT. Maybe a night on the streets will teach you A LESSON." And with that, the apartment door slammed shut leaving a scared and shellshocked DC out in the hall. He thought he was doing the honorable thing and telling Bryan that he had kissed Florida during one of their outings to Disneyworld last week, and in his more rational brain he knew it wasn't fair that Bryan freaked out like this because he had cheated on DC numerous times, but his emotional side won over and he began banging on the door begging and pleading Bryan to please take him back.

His cries were in vain, however, because Bryan wasn't opening the door. DC slid down the apartment door, sobbing so hard his entire body shook. How could he do this to Bryan? He was the love of his life, the one he was going to marry someday, and he kissed a state who probably didn't even care about him. DC gave a few more futile knocks on the door, praying Bryan would answer to no avail, and he curled up in a ball on the floor, wondering where he could even go.

He could go to IDC but she'd make him leave Bryan when all he wanted was for him to take him back. DC could probably get a hotel easily but with COVID those rooms should be reserved for first responders. With no other choice, DC stood up, gathered his wits about him, and disappeared, hoping he wasn't making a bad choice.

Texas blew some smoke out of his mouth as he sat on the front porch, looking at the bright Florida sky.

"Think he's alright?" California asked.

"Considering that boyfriend is an asshole, I doubt he's taking it well." Texas muttered looking at the lit cigarette in-between his fingers.

"It's for the best if they break up, then we'll finally have a chance to confess to him we like him and bring him into our group." California pointed out. Texas sucked in then blew out more smoke.

"Poppy....that boy is in an emotional abusive relationship and is constantly gaslit. It's going to take awhile." Texas muttered. California sighed and stood up, leaning on Texas's shoulder.

"You with New York tonight?" Texas asked.

"Yeah, I better go take my melatonin now so I can sleep with his snoring." California snorted. The two kissed before California disappeared into the house, leaving Texas to finish his cigarette in peace. As Texas blew out more smoke, DC appeared at the front steps, shocking him for a second, which quickly turned to concern as he noticed his distressed face.

"DC?" Texas whispered snuffing his cigarette and jumping up.

"T-Texas....I....Bryan...." DC whimpered before breaking into tears again. Texas hurried over and hugged DC close, letting the federal district cry into his shirt.

"I....I told him...a-about Florida and.....he....he cheated on me....so many times but...." DC cried. Texas rubbed DC's back and tried to fight back the fifty ways he planned on killing his boyfriend in his mind.

"DC....Bryan ain't right for you." Texas whispered.

"I-I love him...." DC mumbled.

"He doesn't love you." Texas announced. DC froze in his arms, Texas obviously hit a nerve.
