"you're both unintelligent children" Tehcno says popping one of his sushi rolls into his mouth. "says the one who is a dropout" opal says, reminding him. Laughter fills the room like how a candles sent can make a room feel welcoming. The group have only known each other for about a couple of months but it feels like they've known each other for years. It was like a big happy family, everyone got along well. "I mean you're the one who decided to room with Tommy" Techno roasted. "I mean Tommy's a great roommate" Opal said and smiled. "i cant believe he convinced you to move to Brittan" Wilbur said. "It didn't take much" Opal replied, "I've always wanted to move to a different country" "We're glad you're here" Niki said with a mouthful of noodles. "Yeah, I'm really glad we decided to all move close by, its nice having friends around" Tommy said. "That might have just been the most sincere thing I've heard Tommy say" Peter said putting down his chopsticks. "I think he's right, and i live with Tommy" Opal said and laughed. Everyone laughed at that and Tommy looked around with his face red. "So Wilbur how's your song coming along?" Niki asked after the laughter died. "Oh its going really great, thank you for asking" Wilbur said.
Once everyone had finished their food, they cleaned up and went off to there rooms for the night. Peter watered the plants by the window and looked outside. "Hey Techno, it looks like its gonna storm soon" He said. "Good thing i got some food canned for the apocalypse under my bed" Techno replied and crashed on to their white couch. "It was nice of you to by everyone Japanese, you're a really great person Techno" Peter told him and sat down on the comfy chair by the couch. "yeah, i love them though, honestly this group is kind of the first time I've ever had friends" Techno said and sat up. "What?" Peter asked concerned. "Growing up I never really had friends" Techno spilled. "Oh, I'm so sorry" Peter said, looking at his roommate worried. "Its fine now, its just its always been difficult talking to people, I'm scared ill say the wrong thing and they'll leave and no one will ever need me or want me around" Techno responded. "I know how you feel Techno, but you don't have to worry about any of us leaving, we all enjoy your company and jokes" Peter said. "I know, but i feel like if i don't do enough for everyone, they wont want me around" Techno said. "Techno, you don't have to feel that way, you don't owe us anything" Peter said. Techno looked at Peter, he felt like what he had just said was genuine and sincere. "Thanks Pete, i needed that" He said and smiled. "Wanna chill and watch Death Note?" Peter asked. "Hey I love that show" Techno said and grabbed the red blanket off the back of there couch. "I know bud" I said and turned on our flat screen. "Hey, thanks for letting me talk about that, i find it really difficult to open up to people, so thank you" Techno said. "you're welcome, I'm always here for you" I told him. "Thank you" He said and we directed our attention to the Death Note theme song.
"Opal I'm booooooored" Tommy complained. "wanna go outside and kick some rocks around" opal suggested "isn't it about to storm" tommy said, worried. He didn't have a problem with storms, he actually liked them but opal has always been terrified of them. One time tommy found opal in her room having a panic attack over the storm that started. Tommy made sure she was okay, never leaving her side. Hes not the person to show a soft side. Hes always been the person who is loud and carefree but when it came to opal, someone who he trusted and cared about deeply it was a different story. That night he showed the side that not many people see. Even when opal said she was fine and that he didn't need to worry about her he stayed, wanting to make sure she was 100% okay. He only went to bed when opal was asleep on the couch with him(PLATONIC PEOPLE PLATONIC-M)after he turned on some Disney movies.
"ill be fine don't worry" opal reassured him, trying to calm her nerves in the process. "okay but the minute your not okay and wanna go inside we will" tommy said, still worried for his friend. "thank you tommy, your a really good friend" opal said, putting on her shoes. "no probl-are u gonna grab a coat?" tommy questions "i have a sweater on ill be fine "opal reassures "whatever you say" tommy replies, bringing an extra coat cause he knows she's gonna get cold.
Outside of the apartment
"okay fuck you" opal says while Tommy's laughing at her. she's proven Tommy's point of it being freezing cold. "here's a jacket dumbass, I knew you were gonna get cold" tommy says in-between laughs. "thanks" opal takes the jacket and is sucked into its warmth. they walk around the apartment complex and find a weird box. "YO THE FUCK IS THIS" tommy exclaims. "probably the breaker box, wanna punch it?" opal suggest. "HELL YEAH" says tommy, running over to it. with all the might and built in anger in him he punches it. Then the whole place turns dark. "SHIT" tommy yells, holding his hand in pain. "well this cant get worse-" BOOM a big bang of thunder cuts on opals sentence. tommy in a spit second runs over to her and drags her inside. there both dripping from head to toe in rain. " well that was something, WAIT IS YOUR HAND OKAY" opal yells, noticing the blood on his hand.
in tecno and peters apartment
All of a sudden the lights go out in Peter and Techno's room. "Uh peter there's uh no more death note" Techno says. "I can see that buddy" Peter responds. "Peter i cant see am i blind" Technoblade said confused. "The powers out, must have been the storm" Peter replied. "Oh god, my potatoes" Techno yelled. "You're potatoes will be fine" Peter said. "We should go check on the others, I doubt Opal and Tommy are doing good" Peter said and stood up. "Alrighty lets go check on those two first" Techno said and stretched.
