Clarke woke up.  It was still dark outside and she knew she probably only slept for a few hours.  "Awake already, Princess?"  Bellamy mumbled sleepily.

Clarke lifted her head from Bellamy's chest to see his face.  "Yeah. How about I keep watch and you can get some sleep.  We can look for Octavia in the morning."  Clarke told him.

"How about we go look for her right now?" Bellamy started to stand up.  "No."  Clarke stopped him.  "Look, we can't move as fast or search as much ground if we're tired."  Bellamy glared at Clarke for a second.  "Please, just-"  Clarke's voice trailed off.  Bellamy sighed. "Fine, Princess, have it your way." Bellamy sat back down by Clarke.

    Clarke smiled.  "Thanks."

Bellmay sat down.  "Do you know why I was in prison?"

    Clarke shook her head.  "No."

Bellamy sighed,  "I shot the Chancellor."  "You what?"  Clarke asked, shocked.

"I made a deal with this guy.  -  I'm not gonna say who it was, so don't ask.  -  he told me that the games where prepicked.  So if I got put in jail, both Octavia and I would get our names drawn.  But there was one problem, I'm an adult, I couldn't get put in jail, I would get floated.  So the deal was if I killed Jaha, this man would change the age on my birth certificate so I could get to Octavia through the games.  I would help her win, so she could get pardoned from her crimes and live a normal life.  Like she always wanted."

"Why  -  Why are you telling me this?" Clarke asked.

"Because if Octavia dies out there, it's all my fault."  Bellamy told her.  "This is my way of begging you to let us go and look for Octavia."

"Okay then, let's get a move on, but as soon as nightfall comes.  We're setting up camp and you need to sleep."  Clarke ordered.

    "Okay, Princess."

With that Clarke and Bellamy set off into the wilderness.
