They had no idea what to do, where to go, or even where to look next. It was like they where completely clueless, and that feeling sucked.
"Maybe we should look a little more up stream...?" Monty suggested as he scanned the area.
"Or maybe we should look down stream." With the tone that was used, it seemed as if Jasper had corrected Monty. God knows how long they could argue about the simplest things.
Bellamy turned to look at Clarke. "How about you, Princess?" Bellamy continued. "Where do you want to look?"
Clarke didn't care where they looked, she just wanted to find Octavia. "Let's split into two groups one can look up stream, and the other group can look down stream." Clarke told them. "We meet back up here before the sun sets. Weather we find Octavia or not."
"Yeah, okay. Let's do that." Bellamy nodded, this was his sign of approval. "But, we should stay out longer. It'll give us a better chance of finding Octavia. Two days. When nightfall comes, both groups should set up camp. If you find Octavia explain to her what is going on, I don't want her to get scared or nervous. Then start heading back up to this spot. At sunrise in three days, if you haven't found her start heading back."
"No." Jasper shook his head. "We should go as one group. It's safer."
"Yeah. Jasper is right." Monty agreed. "Four in a group is much safer than two. Plus, what if someone gets lost from the other guy they're with?"
"Yeah. Okay. Fine, then, we go as one." Clarke told them.
"But," Bellamy sighed, his head practically boiling with anger. Two groups would have been better. There was a bigger change of finding his sister that way. His poor, little, baby sister. "Sounds like a plan." Bellamy grunted, angrily.
The whole group of four began to head up stream, despite Bellamy's wishes.
The same, normal walking routine. Jasper and Monty in the county with Bellamy and Clarke slightly trailing behind.
"Is this the right choice?" Clarke looked ahead at Japser and Monty, making sure they hadn't over heard her. "Is this whole one group thing the right choice?"
"To tell you the truth, I really don't know." Bellamy admitted. "But I guess that we'll find out."
