Deiston POV

Masyado akong napagod ngayong araw. Kaya maaga pa akong umalis sa academy at nagma-maneho na papunta sa bahay ngayon.

People always ask me if I have a home. Pero laging iisa lang ang nakukuha nilang sagot sakin.

"I don't have one, I only have a house"

Pagkatapos kong sabihin yun, they would stare at me and stare at each other. As if they were weirded about my answer. I can't judge them since we all have different lives. If they have a lovely home then lucky for them. I have a house to live but I don't consider it my home.

A home is a place where your heart is at ease. Where your mind is at peace and where your body can collapse because of the burdens of the world. But my house with my dad is nothing like that.

Many say that I am one lucky man. My father's rich and I live in a fancy and big mansion. I just chuckle everytime I hear that, they just don't know what's happening behind those marbled walls, those doors , those glass and expensive windows. Inside there lived a boy. A boy who was sad. A boy who was miserable. A boy who cried everynight. A boy who was unhappy.

A boy who was seeking for care and attention.

I stopped all my ongoing thoughts and focus myself on driving. As I drive I opened my windows of my car. The fresh air, the chilly breeze, and the blinding lights made me smile. I smiled bitterly nung na realize ko na ang babaw pala ng kasiyahan ko at simpleng mga ganito ay ngumingiti na ako. Siguro dahil narin hindi ko na naramdaman ang maging masaya para sa isang makabuluhang bagay ng matagal ng panahon.

Habang papunta ako sa loob ng subdivision ng bahay namin ay biglang nagbago ang mukha ko. It was always this feeling when I drive back to our house after school. It always makes my heart and lungs tight. It feels like I'm suffocated and can't breathe. Pumapasok sa isip ko na nandito na naman ako sa impyerno. Isang malaking mansion na inaasam-asam ng iba pero hindi ng isang tulad ko.

Masyadong maraming nangyari kanina at nakakairita. First day of class palang ay parang pinaparusahan na ako. Hindi naman ako naghahanap ng gulo eh pero bakit ba lumalapit ang MALAS. Lalo na ang lokong yun, ba't ba galit na galit sakin yun? Alam kong merong mga taong desperado pagdating sa taong nagugustuhan nila. Pero I think he is too much at masyadong naging sobra. Like hell I want to steal his girl away from him. Sa kaniya lahat si Zhane at wala akong pake.

Ang kitid ng utak ng lalaking yun. Can't he see that I'm not the one to blame here? NAGKAGUSTO sakin ang gusto niya pero HINDI KO GUSTO ang babaeng yun. Pareho lang sila at desperado pagdating sa walang kwentang pagmamahal na yan.

Pagkatapos kanina nung away ay pumasok pa ako sa classroom. At rinig na rinig ko naman ang lahat ng bulong-bulongan ng kapwa ko estudyante. I'm certain they knew that latest incident in the cafeteria. Masyadong matunog ang pangalan ko sa academy at inaasahan ko na iyon.

After an hour kaninang hapon pumunta ako sa office ng Headmistress. Habang papalapit ako nakita ko na rin ang mga ipinatawag din kanina. Si Zhane at yung dalawang kaibigan ng asungot na yun.
My eyes searched for him, pero hindi ko nakita. He dare to call me with such terms earlier pero siya ang walang respetong hindi pinakita kahit ang anino niya.

We waited for our names to be called pero biglang lumabas ang secretary ng headmistress at sinabing hindi daw matutuloy ang usapan namin ngayon. It's because they had to rush with this important matter regarding daw sa academy. It made me feel at ease knowing that hindi matutuloy. Bukod sa hindi makakarating sa ama ko ay hindi pa masasayang ang oras ko. Naka surivive pa ako sa dada at mga daldal ng headmistress. I'm sure she'll just say the same thing over and over again.
