6.30pm, Deep breath, it’s time to head downstairs. Yeah and meet everyone. Damn I hope they like me. I step into the dinning/kitchen. “Boys this is Spencer.” Greg says gesturing to me. “Please call me Nell.” “Yes sorry Nell, boys introduce yourselves.” In front of me were five boys all really good looking, we all look alike, credit that to my father and to Greg. “I’m the eldest Adam, 22.” He said with a smile. “I am Rick, 21.”, “Emmett, 17” cool someone my age. “Heath, I’m 15.” Seems alright. “and I’m Tyler, I’m 10.” He’s still in the cute stage. They all hat really thick Texas accents. “So you’re from Australia?” Adam questioned, “How old are you?” Heath but in before I could answer. They looked at me expectantly. “Oh, right, yes I am Aussie, I guess you picked the accent, and I’m 17 tomorrow.” They look at me shocked. “September 21st tomorrow, you act older than 17, you seriously the same age this silly one.” Rick said motioning to Emmett. “Hey!” Emmett slapped Rick. “Yes? Anyway, Kerrey what’s to eat I am staved, please, please, please tell me my nose wasn’t playing tricks on me when I smelled steak.” I bet I am pouting right now. “Yes I cooked stake, You have a good nose.” She laid a plate in front of me. “Yes rib-eye!” I exclaim, they looked at me rather taken aback. I say grace under my breath, though Tyler smiles at me, I presume he heard, and then I dig in.
A knock sounded on my door it was 7.15pm. “Come in” The door opens to reveal all 5 boys standing there. “Umm.. are you going to entre or stand there awkwardly on the stairs.” They let out uneasy laughs. Emmett speaks up. “Your cool, I was so worried you’d be some stuck up…” I interrupted him, “City Girl.” I sigh. “Yeah.” They all respond. “So what Times the wakeup call, 4am?” and here comes the stunned looked. “Nell, you don’t have to…” oh man they think I won’t pull my weight. “No I want too, so if guys have a chore, that doesn’t take too long, you can each give it to me, and I’ll do them.” “ahh…” a narrow my eyes “Okay.” They sigh. I smile, I like it here already.
