Elora Thompson is a normal teenager. She has a job, goes to high school and her biggest worries are schoolwork and friends. Completely normal. Except for the fact that she lives alone and has no idea who her family is or if she even has any.
Oh, and if that wasn't enough she is also plagued my mysterious dreams at night, which show scenes that seem familiar to her, although she can't think how and why they do.
When there are two new guys at school, the rumour mill works overtime. But on meeting the new students as well as their friend, Elora can't help but feel strange when they seem familiar to her. And they seem to feel the same way.
