Alternate Endings - Someone from your past

It had been five years since Anakin Skywalker defeated Sith Lord Darth Sidious, or as he also was known, Chancellor Palpatine. It came as a shock to everyone, including the Jedi, when he was discovered. It was a random decision in the last minute that made Anakin kill the Sith but after he immediately felt the positive outcome. Years of careful manipulation gone in a few moments, leaving him lighter and at more peace than ever before.

After his success he gained the rank of Master and the code was altered, allowing him to live openly about his relationship to Padme once the war was over. A week later two beautiful twins were born. Luke and Leia Tana Skywalker, Leia gaining the middlename from an altered version of Ahsoka's last name.

After being contacted by the Mandalore rebelleader and Death Watch defector Bo-Katan, Obi-Wan lead a siege of the planet in the name of the Republic to free the people, placing former Sith Maul in custody once and for all.

With both Maul, Dooku and Palpatine out of the way the war had quickly come to an end, the nightmare officially being over in 18BBY after a couple of months with negotiations. The treaty was signed between the remaining Separatist leaders and the new chancellor of the Galactic Republic, Bail Organa, without distractions.

After remaining in service for a year, just to make sure the peace would last, all the clones were retired from the GAR and were all offered new jobs. Rex became a charity worker and had spent the last year on Ryloth to continue rebuilding and delivering aid to those who's homes were destroyed on the planet together with most of the men from the 501:st. Cody started a support group (mainly for other clones) to help the war-scarred individuals across the galaxy and Commander Wolffe and his wolfpack moved to a farm on Saleucami in the outer-rim territories.

Anakin Skywalker was happy to finally be free of the darkness that had been on his mind for years. Now he was a beacon of light that could be felt through the whole Jedi Temple whenever he was present, no less when the incredibly smart "Little Tana" joined him on the Council meetings. Due to Yoda's age he now spent most of his time in meditation and had long ago resigned from his role as Grand Master. And with the orders new alignment with love and friendship, Plo Koon had been the obvious choice to take on the part.

Everyone loved when Anakin's toddler Leia was with them as she always had a unique perspective on things, just like her mother. The nickname "Little Tana" was something everyone now liked to call her after Plo Koon once reffered to her as it since she was named after Ahsoka.

That was it, wasn't it? The one thing Anakin still couldn't let go of from his past, Ahsoka. Since the time she had walked down those stairs Anakin had thought of her every day, every hour maybe even. Anakin's little Snips would always have a special place in his heart, right next to Padme and his mother.

This day was nothing different from any other. Anakin was on his way home to the twins and his wife after an early meeting, the consequence of being a Jedi Master. He had had to stay overnight at the temple due to all the meetings. It was irritating but as always, duty came before feelings, a fact he had accepted long ago. As long as he was allowed to have feelings in the first place he didn't mind.

His sleep had been undisrupted, just as it had been for the five years since he once and for all defeated his darkness on that day in the senate building. Anakin was alert and felt rested and exited to see his family again although he had spent time with them the day before. When he neared the entrance he could see the light fog that had layed itself in a thin layer just over the surface of the planet. A cold wind passed him and made his brown robe flutter around him. His blue eyes shined with anticipation to meet his family again and his curly brown hair that just reached his shoulders slowly moved in the wind.
