Ahsoka and Anakin oneshot

This is set after clone wars season 2 episode 21 "R2 come home" in which Anakin together with Mace Windu get trapped in a ship that had crashed on a planet when young Boba Fett try to get revenge on Mace for killing Jango. In the end they are rescued by Ahsoka and Master Plo Koon but Anakin gets injured so this is some small sibling bonding/banter based on the Brooklyn 99 quote "The doctor said all my bleeding was internal. That's where the blood's supposed to be."

They had just boarded the Resolute where Anakin was going to recover. He was resting in the medbay after Kix's more thorough check on his physical state. The medics from the 104th had looked for anything critical that needed immediate medical attention but luckily none was needed. He had some mayor burns, a little internal bleeding and a small concussion, so he would spend the night in a bactatank but for now he was still up and awake.

Ahsoka stood leaning in over his bed while Kix prepared the tank. "Are you good Master, truly?" She wanted to check in on him a little extra even if Kix and the other medics already had. You never knew what Anakin Skywalker would get up to when he had a concussion, no matter how minor it was.

"Well the bad guy got away so not very I guess," he said from under the white hospital sheets. Of course. Ahsoka sighed and crossed her arms. Of course he was going to joke in a situation like that.

"I meant health-wise." She knew he was kidding but wasn't in the mood for it. Not when he had been injured.

He gave her a 'come on' look and then rolled his head back and sighed. "I wasn't hurt that badly. The doc said all my bleeding is internal. That's where the blood is supposed to be." He cracked his neck first to one side and then the other seemingly pretty unbothered by everything.

Ahsoka just stared at him. He was really a pain in the ass some days. She turned to Kix. "Kix, could you put him under a brain scan? I think his concussion is worse than we thought. There might be some permanent damage."

Kix smirked to her in response. He had heard the whole conversation and was always happy to put the General in his place. "No problem Commander. And what do you say about bedrest for a few days?"

"Yes I believe he could use some of that too."

"Hey that's not fair!" Anakin sat up so he was resting on his elbows and looked between them. "I can do whatever I want, you don't outrank me."

Ahsoka smiled to Kix over the table. "The medic outranks the patient long as they're injured. And since you're injured you also don't have any authority so I move up the chain of command." Her smile widened. "If you had actually listened during our lessons you would've known that."

Anakin covered his face with one of his hands and fell back into his pillow. "I hate you guys."

Ahsoka grinned again. "Love you too big bro," she said and turned her heel to leave. She had calls to make to a certain senator and a ginger Jedi Master, she was already looking forward to her Master's face when he got lectured about recklessness by them both, plus she had a criminal to track down, since Anakin was out of the game for a while.
