Chapter 19

Hajin smiles seeing how Yeong and Taeul keep bickering. And won't stop till their mom glares at them. It reminds her of her days with Hakyung. Just the two of them. No one-stop their fight. But they never really fight, because Hajin knows they only have each other. She doesn't even realize teardrops from her eyes.

"Are you okay?", Yeong is the first one that noticed.

"Yeah...I am so sorry...I don't mean to ruin the mood...", Hajin says guiltily. Because now the three of them are looking at her worriedly. "I just-", she doesn't know how to explain it without making everything awkward. Thankfully her phone is ringing. "I need to pick this up...", she excuses herself.

"Hello...", she picks up the phone.

"Yeo Hajin...you're mine...only mine..."

-Tut-

The phone was hang up. Hajin freezes on the spot. She feels like she's going to get a panic attack at any second. Calm down Yeo Hajin. She tries to talk to herself. It must be just a random phone call.

"Hey...what happened??", Yeong is already standing in front of her.

Hajin just stares at him helplessly. She can barely breathe. How can she even reply?

Yeong pulls her in his hugs. And strokes her back gently. "Whatever it is...it'll be okay...I am here...you'll be okay..."

Yeong is staring at Hajin's bedroom window from inside his car. After Hajin calmed down, she told him about the mysterious call. He was in a rage. But trying to be as calm as possible. Because he didn't make her worried even more. He tried to track the number but of course, it's a burner phone. He called his police friend and asked for help, but he said they need something more convincing to start an investigation. Yeong frustrated. He really can't do anything unless that stalker decides to show up.

And now Yeong can't leave, because he can't stop thinking what if that stalker really showed up and do something to Hajin.

Knock! Knock!
Yeong wakes up startled because someone was knocking on his car windows. "Hakyung?"

Hajin's sister is standing outside his car, with two cups of coffee in her hands. Yeong gets out of his car. "What is it?"

Hakyung hands him one of the coffee. "I think you need this..."

"Thank you...", Yeong receives it gratefully. "Is Hajin okay?"

"She's still asleep...after drinking few pills last night..."

Yeong sips his coffee. Hearing that Hajin needs medication to help her sleep is heartbreaking.

"Dont worry she's okay...", Hakyung says knowingly. "You should just sleep inside if you want to stay here all night..."

Yeong chokes on his drink. Hakyung gasps when she realized what she just said.

"I mean...stay in the guest bedroom...not my sister's bed-", why did she have to make it worse. "I think I am going to check on Hajin...", Hakyung laughs awkwardly and excuses herself inside.

Yeong needs to talk about this to Leegon. But before that, he needs to go home and take a shower.

Hajin is stabbing her sandwich randomly.

"Stop playing with your food and eat...", Hakyung puts a glass of orange juice in front of her sister.

Hajin sighs and puts down her fork. "Hakyung ah...I think I was a bit overreacted...", she looks at Hakyung doubtfully.
