Chapter 4

Hajin looks up and grins. "I am hungry..."

"Oh God.", Yeong really wants to curse.

"Let's stop by to eat something...", Hajin pleads. "I am really hungry..."

"I promised your sister I'll drive you straight home."

"Pleaseeee...", Hajin is showing her puppy eyes. "We can go to drive-thru...so it won't take long..."

Yeong looks at Hajin. And trying so hard to resist that stupidly cute puppy eyes.

"Please Yeong ah..."

Okay. He gives up. "Fine. We'll stop by at drive-thru and go straight home."

"Yess!!!", Hajin exclaims happily.

Yeong sighs. It's just because she's hungry. She's going to be sick if she doesn't eat. Yeong tries to defend his own choice. Totally not because of her puppy eyes. Especially not because she said his name like that.

"There!", Hajin points at the burger joint that opens for 24hours.

"Okay.", Yeong drives her there.

Yeong pull down the window, so they can order. "Can I help you?", the waitress asks.

But instead of telling Yeong what she wanted to eat, Hajin moves forward crossing her seat. Yeong freezes when Hajin's hand suddenly lands on his thigh. Now she is practically on top of Yeong. He feels hot all over him. And Yeong is pretty sure he's a beet red right now.

"Double cheeseburgers and a chocolate milkshake with ice float...make it two...", Hajin orders excitedly. Oblivious about what her hand did to Yeong.

After finished ordering, Hajin backs to her seat. She looks at Yeong when she heard him mumbling something. Her eyes go wide when she realizes what he's actually doing. "Why are you singing the Korean National anthem???"

Yeong gulps. "Nothing. Just bored. Why you never heard someone else humming a song?", he asks back. Hoping his face already backs to its normal colour.

"Yes...but I've never heard someone humming National anthem when they were bored...", she rolls her eyes. This man is weird.

"Good. Now you've heard it.", Yeong looks out the window. Avoiding Hajin's gaze. And Thak God, the conversation was stopped by the waitress that giving their orders.

Hajin receives it happily. "Can we park there for a while?", she points at the parking lots.

"We need to get you home.", Yeong refuses.

"Just for a few minutes...please..."

"Okay. Just for a few minutes.", Yeong gives up. What is it with this woman. Why was it so hard for him to say No to her.

Yeong finds a perfect spot and parked the car. "What do you want to-", Hajin is suddenly stuffing a burger into his mouth.

"You should eat too...", Hajin smiles sweetly.

Yeong sighs and bites the burger involuntarily.

"It's so good, isn't it?", Hajin asks while munching her burger.

"Not bad.", Yeong says after tasting it. "I know a place that has a better burger than this..."

"Really??", Hajin asks excitedly. Yeong just nods. "You should take me there next time!!!"

"Okay...", Yeong answers reflexively. Oh Shit! He curses in his head when he realizes what he just said.

"Yeeesss!!! You already said that!!! It's a promise...no taking it back...", Hajin grins.
