Chapter 26

"How long will you going to stare at that phone?"

Yeong startles when his sister suddenly shows up behind him. "Yaa...how many times I told you to knock!"

"Why don't you go visit Hajin?", Taeul frowns. Ignoring Yeong's protest.

"Why should I?"

"Because you're dying to see her...what else...", Taeul rolls her eyes. Her brother is really slow sometimes.

"What if she doesn't want to see me..."

Taeul sighs. "If she didn't want to see you...she wouldn't beg Hakyung to let her visit you the first time she opened her eyes..."

"What??"

"Hakyung told me... Hajin almost bleeds out, trying to pull away her infusion syringe...when Hakyung refused to tell her your condition..."

"Why no one told me this before...I thought she still hates me..."

"How could you possibly think that she hates you?"

"You saw it yourself...she literally run away from me when we woke up that day..."

"Okay I thought you're just stupid but apparently you're beyond that...", Taeul shakes her head.  She was embarrassed PABO!", she smacks Yeong's head and walks out of the room.

"YAAAA!!!", Yeong screams at his annoying sister. Hajin wanted to see me. Was that true? Should he just go visit her? What if she doesn't want to see him? He sent her a message the first day after she was discharged from the hospital. But she didnt reply to him. He messaged her again. But still no response. So he asked Hakyung if she was okay. And apparently, she was okay. So that means she just didnt want to reply to his messages right?

But he missed her. Damn it. Maybe he just needs to go there. See her. He doesn't care if she refused to see him. 
Okay, maybe he'll need to ask Hakyung, in case she wasn't home.

Hajin feels drowsy after drinking one of her meds. She was just about to fall asleep when heard a knock on her door. "Hmm...come in...", Hajin answers. Still too lazy to get up or even opens her eyes. She heard someone opens the door and walks in. It's a familiar step. But it's not Hakyung.

"Hajin ah...", Yeong already stands beside her bed. A bit out of breath.

Hajin freezes when she heard that voice. Did she start hallucinating? Was this the effect of the medication she takes? She gets up and stares at Yeong.

"Hey...", his voice softens. "Are you okay?", Yeong sits beside her bed.

"Why are you here?", her words come out harsher than she intended to.

Yeong sighs. Not sure how to answer that. "I want to see you..."

"Oh...", Hajin remembers the message that she sent to him with Hakyung's number. "Sorry about that message. It was me who sent that. I just wanted to mess with her. You dont have to come here. I am just...", annoyed that he messaged Hakyung instead of her. But she won't say that.

"I want to see you.", Yeong repeats his words more firmly.

"Huh?"

"I was already on my way here when I got that reply..."

"Oh..."

"How are you now?"

"I am okay..."

"Good..."

Both of them go silent.

"You-"

"I miss you...", Yeong says before Hajin can continue her words.
