[ The Dropship ]

Rena was admiring the view, there were so many plants around her that she had never seen. Bugs, too! Rena's eye was caught by a small bug with black spots on a tree leaf. Smiling to herself, she concluded it must be a ladybug. Feeling giddy she looked around more. She needed to find a place to settle down, somewhere she could easily escape from everyone else if needed.

Her thoughts trailed off into needing weapons or something to defend herself with. Sighing Rena glanced back to the dropship, feeling relieved when she saw the fake guard had left. She silently went back into the drop shift to quickly look through the small supplies the Ark had given them. Rena couldn't help but frown, they really expected 100 kids to live off little to no supplies. She would feel disappointed but with the way she was raised she honestly wasn't that surprised. There were a couple blunt knives and some medical supplies too. Along that were blankets and a some extra clothes.

Snatching on of the few daggers that they provided the kids she made her way right out the door on the lower level. Right as she walked out she noticed she was standing in the middle of a fight circle. "Huh?"

"-to find Mount Weather. You heard my father's message. That has to be our first priority." A boy, Wells Jaha, told the crowd as he stepped forwards with a blonde girl, one Rena didn't know. It seemed like they were arguing with the siblings that were on the opposite side of the circle.

Frowning Rena turned towards her only friend, Octavia. "Tavi, is this guy an idiot?" Turning her head towards Wells she furrowed her brows and gave him a contemplating stare. "You have to be, why would you mention your father in a camp full of people he put in jail? That's not helping your case."

"She's right. Screw your father." Octavia sneered, a couple cheers of agreement coming from the camp. "What, you think you're in charge, you and your little princess." Her eyes shifting to the blonde at the end.

Rena's eyes narrowed even more. Completely lost she made eye contact with Octavia and her brother, silently she pointed to herself and tilted her head. Octavia sighed, exasperatedly, and shook her head silently. Rena thought she saw her mutter something about her having being socially dumb before the blonde spoke.

"Do you think we care who's in charge? We need to get to Mount Weather not because the Chancellor said so, but because the longer we wait, the hungrier we'll get and the harder this'll be."

Even Rena had to admit, the blonde did have a point. She could go for some food right about now, although she could definitely hold off if she needed to. Rena looked around the crowd seeing some kids nod slowly or murmur amongst themselves.
