Ebony

Chapter 6 - Finale

The young female drops her bags on the floor when she sees Anastagio wrapped up in Shino's slithery tail. He is being dragged across the room. While Christof holds Ebony's body in a panic, shaking her back and forth trying to snap her out of her spasm.

"Run while you can!" Christof screams but the female only gets angry. She starts to walk closer to Shino without hesitation. Shino begins to shake and starts to slowly back away while letting Anastagio go. Once Shino is backed against the wall Durellium runs down the steps yelling "What is going on here! I was sleep-" but stops himself in his sentence when he sees: Shino and her tail, Ebony spasming out, Anastagio rubbing the redness around his neck, and a female who looked mostly familiar.

Durellium was in shock. He stumble backwards on the steps. Shino looks at him for a moment then in her most quivering voice says, "umm look it's the boy that messed up your cover." Shino was stuttering. She was actually shuddering as she stood eight foot tall and faced the female who looked at her with a cold blank stare.

" I-I could kill-kill him for you, it would-wouldn't be a prob-problem." The female who walked in continued to stare without expression until Durellium said boldly, "Wait!"  He stood up from his minor stumble and continued, "It's you!?" The female turned around and smiled making Durellium shake his head in confusion "CANTA?! What are you doing here? No better question what's going on!?" Canta slowly turned away from and said simply, "I don't have to explain myself to you." And with that she wave her hand to the side swiftly and then closed her fist. And with that, Durellium was killed in an instant.

His body shape was splattered into the wall. Two pipes poked out of the parts of his body that stuck to the wall adjacent to each other. One out of his third rib and one out of his eighth.

Leaving his life-less body Cantas eyes stay focused on Shino still with emotion-less eyes. The only movement seen was the flicker in her eye lashes, it was almost as if she had become a whole new person.

Once his body fell from the pipes. His hody hit every step before hitting the base floor. Christof skreeches out Durellium's name in agony. While Anastagio could only hold himself. In a state of shock and widened his eyes, he could only keep staring at his only brother's body lying on their floor with a broken neck and more injuries then he could count.

Shino then apologized many of times saying frantically "Please Hades I can fix this! I can! This was the solution it was-" but was cut off by Anastagio yelling out Canta's name in anger and frustration. His body finally started to catch up with his mind. He grabbed a piece of wood that had fell from the railing of the steps and ran towards Canta with it."-YOU SPAWN OF SATAN! I HATE-"

Canta didn't even take the energy to turn around or even move a mussel all she did was close her eyes as she let the words "Death." Come off her lips. With that Anistagio fell to the ground, dead. His body lay just behind Canta's feet, his hand crumpled just an inch away from her green heels.

Shino started to shake when Canta opened her eyes in a swift movement then began to speak to Shino "You had your chance, now chance be gone, slave you will be, for forever on." Then two thick, red, burning metal, bracelets appeared on Shino's wrists with smoke floating off. Shino screamed in agony. The metal burned her as is molded and melted into her flesh. Shino's screams made Canta visabley angrier  as her eyebrow rose a hair, saying swiftly, "Did I say you could speak?" Canta then snapped her finger and cut out shino's tounge. Shino's lips were replaced with a red metal zipper that lay across her mouth. Canta then continued while Shino's tong floated in front of both of their eyes, "You will get it back when you learn how to obey. Now come."

As Canta turns around to walk out the door she sees Christof in utter shock shaking on his knees she laughs then says, "Now you will feel exactly what Ebony and her Mother went through, the sadness of losing your sons is the sadness EBONY felt when she lost her mother, and her Mothers emptiness and sadness you will face too, forever until the end of time!"

Christof began to talk backwards as he rubbed his head on the floor, his eyes lost focus, and his insanity became an eye sore. He was now as hopeless as Ebony was.

Canta finally took a second to compose herself and look at the mess she made. Unabashedly, she continued with her task and gently tapped Ebony's arm. Instantaneously, her spasms stopped.

Canta spoke, "I would like to raise you as my own, as my apprentice but, I will let you choose. Would you like to stay here with your neurotic stepfather and take care of him? Or be with me, live forever, and be able to learn the powers of underworld?"

Ebony looked around at the room of dead body's, and her drooling hay of a step father, Christof.  He began rubbing the floor with his head saying, "Cleanly is nice, cleanly is for the floors, but not on you Elisabeth." She felt saddened for her Step-Father for she knew what it was like to go through that, the mood swings, the voices, the pain, and worst of all the realization, that you will never be able to own or change what you did. Ebony then looked to Shino and said "I-I I know what it feels like to be him, to go through what he's going through, can't-can't we take him with us and-and he could be the slave or something?"

Canata then shook her head as she lightly grabbed Ebony's chin "I'm sorry but...no it's impossible." Then Ebony movee her shoulder away from Canta's grasp and said, "Well, but-I mean...you haven't fulfilled your promise to my mother yet!" Canta sighed then said, "We can take care of you but you have to choose us to finish this promise."

Ebony said slowly, "I will if you please just take him with us, I wouldn't want anyone to go through that on their own or at least take it off of him he knows what it feels like now so he can sit and think about what he's done! He could have sent me to the Bad-min, but he kept me, isn't that something? Please I'm begging." Ebony's voice was cracking and her eyes started to water

However, Canta just sighed very loudly and says, "You have TWO choices, the thing about being and having the powers I have is that once I say something there is no going back NONE. I'm sorry."

Ebony then took a deep breath after a little while thinking and said while looking down "....ok....I'll....go." And with that Canta smiled and walked away with Ebony next to her side and Canta following close behind her.
