Ebony

Chapter 5 - Chaos and Clarity

"What did you do! Who are you!" Christof said with anger and scared chills running down his spine as he holds Ebony's spazed out body.

"I" she said as she elongated the word "I am shino and I just killed two birds with one stone. Fixed your little problem and got a mother murderer out of my way."

"What are you talking about! Ebony was only with her mother until she was seven, she would never think of killing someone at that age, let alone her own mother! Are you mad!"

"Mad? Angry? Yes" Now, Shino walked over to Chistof as he held Ebony close with both hands. "You see," Shino continued as she was now standing over Christof smiling. "You Christof, married Ebony's mother when Ebony was just a mere six and a half year, it sure didn't give you enough time to get to know her, if I'm right?"

"So what! Me and her mother were in love!" Christof chimed in, "In love you were. I didn't doubt that, but Ebony's Mother did. So, I did some snooping, being her best friend and all. I had to make sure she was safe. And, do you know what I found?" Shino said as she got closer to Christof's face. He starts to look the other way away. "Exactly, you can't even look at me can you? The only reason you were with her mother was because you needed money! Poor ol Christof having to feed two kids with no money because you spent your life at the bar! What was he to do? And then one night, a lady came into that bar, the prettiest she could be, and had loads of money to boot, just what you were looking for. So, you dolled yourself up and she took the bait, she fell in love, and you Exactly what you needed, someone to use, what a great deal  right?!"

"...So what...I did what I had to!" Now Shino was raising her voice "What you had to do! WHAT YOU HAD TO DO! You didn't have to do anything, and everything would have worked out fine, but you had to take the easy way out!

Yoy went and drugged MY best friend's daughter, so that YOU wouldn't have to deal with her!?"

Shino's pupils began to turn red.

"Making her a crazy, psychotic, little girl, who unknowingly killed her own blood mother!" You could see the calm starting to flow back to Shino as her eyes slowly changed from red back to green. "So. That's why I am here, I have to fulfill a promise and why not throw in some revenge."

Shino moves her hands up in circular motions, letting the power surge through her bones, forming a ball of electricity.

She then points it at christof but right before the blast goes off she gets hit in the head with a brick by Anastagio.

Shino's body stays forward while her neck twist backwards as the blast shoots just barely past Christof's head. Christof cowers in fear, covering Ebony's spazzed out body. Anastagio then runs up towards the steps but falls when Shino's long, black, slick, tail, hidden under her coat, wraps around his ankle making his face hit the edge of the step, scraping his cheek.

As Anastagio gets dragged, he yells Durelliums name. Shino laugh with evil conviction; However, stops when the front door busts open quickly making them all stare at the figure in shock and pity.
