~Missing Piece~ Huaze Lei

Black Swan

Aera POV

Tomorrow is my birthday. 

The day I perform with Lei. 

The day I meet my husband.

My mom had told me that I would have to move into a different house, which they had already bought for me. they told me it was a surprise but, I wanted to see. My mom also told me I had to dance on the wedding day, which was the very next week.

Everything is happening tomorrow. Lei house thing has been solved. I was at my house in the dance studio. Yes we have dance studio in the house. I loved practicing Kathak traditional Indian dance. I had just finished my dance when I heard a clap from behind me. 

I turned around to find Lei looking at me. "That was beautiful, where did you learn it?" He asked. I smiled "I taught myself" I told him. He looked shocked, and I just chuckled it off.

"Lets go to the pool, I'm a bit warm after that." He nodded. We were waking until we got stopped by Amma. "Lei, do you have the invitation for Aera's birthday tomorrow? Its important that all of F4 are there." She said. Lei nodded, although looking sad. We continued our way. I was already wearing my swim shirt and pants. As soon as I got there, I dived in. I took about 4 laps before coming out. It was already late noon, about 6:00 I would guess. Lei was on the other side of the pool, so I swam over. He was looking up at the sky where the stars already showing.

"Are you ready for tomorrow?" He suddenly asked.

"Which part?" I answered, smiling sadly. He chuckled.

"All of it, the music event, your birthday, meeting your husband, and moving?" He asked

"As ready as I will" I said turning to look at him, he was already looking at me.

"Can I stay over? I want to be the first one to wish you happy birthday." He said.

I nodded. He came closer to me, and put his head on my shoulder. 

"I'm sorry for kissing you at the Ferris wheel." He said looking at me. I looked back at him shocked. I shook my head. "Its alright." I told him. I knew it was just heat of the moment, he didn't mean it. We decided to head inside and watch movie.

 We reached our room and decided to watch "Dead Poets Society" I was just listening until I saw Neil, wow he was really handsome. "What do you mean no?" Todd asked then I saw Neil smile and my heart fluttered. "No" Neil said. "Why are you staring at the computer?" Lei asked me. "Because I'm watching the movie, and because Neil is really handsome" I told him. He looked at Neil then at me. "Handsome?" He asked, and I nodded.

Lei Pov

I'm more handsome than him though......right? I looked at her again, and saw that she was staring at Neil again. I got a bit annoyed so I closed her laptop.

"Oi, what's wrong?" She asked.

"Its late, you should sleep." I said standing up.

"Stay." I heard her.

"What?" I asked.

"Stay, stay here in my room instead of the guest room. I'm not yet sleepy plus I need to hug something while sleeping." She replied.

"You are really straightforward." I told her.

"I don't like to beat around the bush. Plus you're my friend, I trust you." She said.

Friend.

FRIEND. I hate that word coming out of her mouth as to describe me but I didn't know why.

I sat back down and she came closer. I felt her head land on my chest. My heart started beating fast. "Why is your heart horse racing? You ok? Am I making you uncomfortable?" She said. My heart beat faster. 

"No, its ok, I'm just a bit cold." I told her.

She pulled up the blanket up to my neck, took of her glasses, and wrapped her arms around me. Impossibly, my heart beat even faster. I hugged her back, pulling her even closer. I could smell her beautiful oceanic scent again. Before I knew it, I fell asleep.

- Next Day-

I woke up to see Aera's beautiful face. I wish I could wake up like this everyday. Todays the day, the day she gets engaged. 

It was around 7:00 so I woke decided to wake up. The only thing we had today was the music event at around 12:00 pm and then we are free to go for the Fall break. I decided to wake Aera up but I didn't know how. 

Then I got an idea. Nobody knew that I had a deep voice....no one. I had a raspy deep voice which sounded like satan.

 "Wakey wakey." (I suddenly thought of Felix saying WAKEY WAKEY)

She suddenly stood up and gave a little shriek. I chuckled and she looked at me, shocked as well......her. 

"Was that you?" She asked.

I nodded giving a little shrug.

"Happy Birthday" I said and she smiled

We got ready for the music event and when we arrived, it was about 11:30. We put everything in place, and sat down. The curtain was still closed.

(I couldn't find the perfect one so play the violin first at 00:38 seconds and the second at 00:19 seconds. It sounds perfect when you play it just perfectly.)

We started playing our music while the curtain slowly opened. All the chatter stopped as soon as we played. She took the lead and I played with her. We finished and everyone started clapping.

We bowed, and made our way backstage.

"Well we got to change for the party, for that we have to go home, lets go." She said. I could tell she was really nervous, so was I. She was getting married, just like Jing. She was going away from me. I was even more scared than her, more nervous about the fact that she might never even look at me again.

We arrived and went to separate rooms. 

I'm not ready to lose her.
