Some how the two girls had fallen asleep together after a lot of talking about a lot of things that each of the girls had never told anyone. Hope woke up first and seemed very panicked and confused about the night before. As she ran through the events in her head she realised just how close she and Josie were and began to argue with herself about if she should move or not. He told herself that she shouldn't move so that she wouldn't wake Josie up, but she already knew that wasn't the only reason she wanted to stay close to her.

Some time passed before Josie woke up, maybe half an hour. Hope had spent that time trying not to stare at her or move enough to wake her up, but not staring was difficult since her arm was stuck under Josie, so she couldn't turn the other way without waking her. She settled on laying on her back so she would be forced to look at the ceiling whilst being able to steal occasional glances at Josie.

Hopes attention stayed locked onto the ceiling as Josie woke up just as confused as Hope was at first.

J- "Hope?"

Josies voice was slightly quiet and raspy but still managed to gain Hopes attention.

H- "Good morning..."

Hope was quiet but her voice had a soft tone.

H- "You're probably really confused right now, huh?"
J- "Definitely"

Josie had been moving around slightly and didn't realise at first that Hopes arm was under her until she felt her fingers brush her waist, making her flinch slightly.

J- "Oh, uh, sorry..."

Josie shifted so that Hope could move her arm and moved onto her back so she could join Hope in staring at the ceiling to avoid eye contact with the other girl.

H- "We just fell asleep after talking for a while, nothing else."
J- "Yeah, I remember a few things"

This time the silence between them was awkward.

J- "Hey do you know what time it is?"
H- "Oh yeah, its 9am"
J- "Oh God, classes started at 8!"

Josie shot up in the bed and was about to sprint out of the room until she felt Hopes hand on her wrist.

H- "It's a Saturday Jo"

Hope was obviously amused by how dedicated Josie was to be a perfect student, which something they had talked about the night before.

J- "Jo?"
H- "Hm?"
J- "You called me Jo."
H- "And? Are you not okay with that?"
J- "Thats not it... You just haven't called me that since..."

It took Hope a minute to catch up.

H- "Since before you and Landon... Oh my God I completely forgot about Landon."

Hope buried her head in her hands just trying to figure out how on earth she would even begin to talk to Landon after everything. What would she even say?

J- "That's definitely complicated... I'm sorry"
H- "Don't apologise, you didn't even know I existed"
J- "I knew something was wrong... I felt it the moment you jumped."

Hope seemed surprised by this. After all she was the only one who seemed to have a reaction of any sort to the memory change.

H- "You felt something?"
J- "Was I not supposed to?"
H- "Well no one else did. Not even Landon."

Both girls were scrambling to find some reason why Josie would've had a reaction to Hope entering malivore, but both came up blank.

H- "What if its because me and you-"

Saved by the bell. Well, the ringtone. Each of the girls checked their phone, glad for a distraction from that conversation.

H and J- "Its Landon."
J- "He sent us both the same message?"
H- "If this is his way of trying to sort things out he's doing a crappy job."

The text had told both of them to meet him on the docks, a significant place for both of the girls relationship with him.

J- "Are you going to go?"
H- "As much as I hate the thought of how uncomfortable it's going to be, yeah."
J- "Great, this is going to be so fun"

The sarcasm seemed to lighten the mood a little and for the first time today, both of the girls seemed genuinely comfortable with each other.

J- "I'm gonna go and change first, and Lizzie is gonna be wondering where I am"
J- "Oh my God what am I going to tell Lizzie"
H- "Glad I'm not in your shoes, have fun with that"

Josie grabbed her stuff and left, leaving Hope sat on the bed wondering what to do now. She had another hour to kill until Landon wanted to see her. She settled on changing clothes and sketching for a while, it was her favourite pastime anyway. She opened her sketchbook to the last page it was on. Her drawing from the park.

She had been meaning to draw something random, like a bench or a tree but somehow she ended up drawing a person. She wasn't sure why she was drawing her, but she had every detail memorised. The thing she ended up drawing was Josie smiling. Obviously Hope knew that her feelings for Josje weren't completely platonic, but she hadn't realised just how deep her feelings were. She had drawn Josie from her memory without even knowing it.

H- "Crap."
