Springs Dream
I was panting heavily. Sweat dripped down my fur as I gritted my teeth. The monstrous creature stood above and in front of me played the captain of our team lying in a pool of his own blood. I needed to get up to the top...I needed to save Ace...he was just a kid...he didn't deserve this! I took a step forward before reaching into my pocket and pulled out a pocket knife before throwing it at the creature before collapsing to the ground in utter exhaustion. The knife easily bounced off the metallic armour on the creature as I layed there panting my vision blurring out. I heard loud sounds of screaming and footsteps pounding on the ground. My eyes looked up to see the creature standing above me...the huge claw right above my chest where my heart was. I tried to move but my body refused to...I was far too tired...too exhausted...I needed sleep. Badly...but I couldn't'...my body was tense... the creature thrusted his claw down right as a loud boom sounded in the area. My eyes widened as blood spurted out of my mouth. I felt a twist...and screamed out in pain before the huge claw was ripped out of my stomach. Another loud boom sound and the creature was pushed off me. I heard people talking but my ears were ringing. I struggled to turn over and within a second felt a hand on my schedule rputting me back down. I heard mumbling that I couldn't make out.
I looked up at the person...the hybrid seeing a blurred blue outline. I heard mumbling that I couldn't make out.
"G..."
Huh?
"-ng!"
Still couldn't tell.
"-pring!"

"SPRING!" I was suddenly jerked away. My eyes landed on Goldie who was shaking me, he stopped when he noticed I was awake. "Spring, we're gonna be late!" Goldie exclaims, quickly slipping a pair of pants on. I turned over to look at the time and my eyes widened. "Ah CRAP!" I exclaimed seeing the time. It was 7:50 in the morning and classes started at 8:00.
I bolted up and practically flew off the bed before dashing out of the small bedroom and into the hallway leading into the bathroom. I flung the door open and grabbed my toothbrush before brushing my teeth vigorously. I would miss out on a shower but I would take one when I get home... I spat out my toothpaste in my mouth before gargling some mouthwash and putting my messy bed hair to the side. That'll have to do... I thought to myself before running out of the bathroom to see Goldie hopping out trying to put a pair of shoes on. He had a shoe in his mouth and was trying to put a shoe on his foot as he hopped into the small kitchen area. I went in the room and scrounged the drawers for something decent. I slipped off my night clothes, and slipped on some clothes. I turned to look in the mirror for a second to see how I looked. Blue jeans, and a typical purple T-Shirt... That'll also have to do. I thought to myself before grabbing my phone and slipping on a pair of grey converse shoes. "C'mon Spring!"I heard Goldie yell my name. "Hold on!" I responded back as I ran out of the room and down into the kitchen area where Goldie tossed me an already opened banana, I gobbled down the banana in seconds...lets just say I got some experience putting long things down my throat.
With that me and Goldie both ran out of the dorm and down the hall and made our way outside where we practically sprinted across the majority off the campus. The warm autumn air hitting my face was a great feeling compared to the cold bitter icy air during the winters. The leaves were now starting to turn their respective fall colors and starting to fall from the trees giving the campus a really beautiful look to it. But me and Goldie were in too much of a rush to focus on that.
