Second Day - Full Moon and Third Day

Asher's POV

I woke up at about seven and got dressed in the bathroom as I did yesterday. Once everyone in the dorm was ready, we headed to breakfast and whilst we were eating, the post came. Shadow flew down to me and dropped a letter in my lap, nibbled on some of my toast and took off for the Owlrey. I picked it up and opened it. It read:

Ash,

Your mother's name was Kyra Lupin and her maiden name was Potter, she was the woman in your dream. She had black hair, brown eyes (the same brown eyes as you), glasses and she was around 5'9. And yes, Harry's first word was Ash. Lily and James Potter were your aunt and uncle, Harry Potter is your cousin, I'm sorry for not telling you sooner, you were too young to understand before you went to Hogwarts. If you come home for Christmas, I'll tell you the full story. And try not to tell anyone about it unless you've told them what happens in your dream, you won't be able to tell Harry until he comes to Hogwarts for some reason. The Ministry doesn't want you to do such things for some weird ass reason.

And it's great that you found a lot of friends. And for full moon, just find Professor McGonnagal during the day, and she'll make sure you're down their safely, alright? Well done on being sorted into Gryffindor!

We used to call Professor McGonnagal 'Minnie' and Snape is going to be mean, he probably hates you because of me, your mother, Padfoot and Prongs. History Of Magic has always been boring, so that's not changed a bit. And for Charms, keep p*ssing people off, show them what you can do, and keep going, after all you are the son of two Marauders.

I read the letter through twice before putting it in my school bag and finishing my breakfast.
"Hey, Asher?" George said.
"Yeah?"
"Was that your dads response to the letter you were writing yesterday?"
"Yeah, I'll tell you when I can, I just wanna process this information first."
"Fair enough, let's get to class I guess." George replied, pulling me and Lee up as Fred, Amelia and Sam got up the other side.

The day went as normal and at lunch time, I went to talk to Professor McGonnagal or Minnie, as I'm going to call her from now on. I knocked on her office door and heard her tell me to come in.
"Ah, Mr Lupin, I suppose you've come here as the full moon is tonight." She said.
"Yes, I was wondering where I'll go to transform."
"Go to the entrance hall twenty minutes before sundown and Madam Pomfrey, the schools nurse, will escort you to the Whomping Willow. This is so you can feel safer as you can't get to the students in the castle."
"Could I use the forest as well, cause students aren't supposed to go in there, are they?"
"Perhaps, but I suggest using the Whomping Willow this time, then you know how to get in there for the future."
"Okay, thank you Minnie," I said, grinning at her.
She looked up at me with a small smile. "Remus told you that one, didn't he?"
"Who else would?" I said and then laughed. "And what should I do because I have astronomy tonight at ten till ten to twelve?"
"I'll let Professor Sinstra know."
"Thank you!"
"Now, go and enjoy the rest of lunch Mr Lupin."
"Yes Madam!" I said as I left Minnie's office.

I carried on the day as normal and at 6:23, I managed to slip out of the common room and I made my way to the Entrance Hall, luckily I didn't run into anyone or get lost on the way. When I was waiting in the entrance hall (I came down a bit early), Filch saw me and hobbled over towards me.
"What are you doing here right now?" He grumbled, stopping just in front of me, making me take a step back.
"Waiting for Madam Pomfrey." I replied.
"Okay, Mr Filch," I heard a sweet voice say, I turned to see who must be Madam Pomfrey coming over to us. "He's with me, you can leave now."
"Fine." He hobbled away, leaving just me and Madam Pomfrey.

"Hello, I'm Madam Pomfrey and you're Asher Lupin, I presume?" She said.
"Yes, Professor McGonnagal said you'd be taking me to where I'm supposed to go."
"Yes, c'mon now, let's get there before the moon rises."
"Alright."

We got to the Whomping Willow and she showed me how to get into the Shrieking Shack and I went inside and waited for the full moon to rise.

George's POV + a time skip to 1
20:45

I couldn't help but notice that Asher didn't seem to be in the common room even though it was curfew fifteen minutes ago. Maybe he'd lost track of time whilst exploring again.
"George!" A heard a voice yell into my ear.
"Geez Fred!" I said, turning to face him.
"I've been trying to get your attention for ten minutes!"
"I'm sorry, I got distracted."
"Distracted by what?"
"Asher isn't back."
"Huh?" He said and after a second, he spoke again. "You're right. Maybe he just hasn't realised the time whilst out exploring again."
"Yeah..."
"I'm gonna go and take a shower, I'll be back down after."
"Alright." I wondered where he was.

It was now 21:30 and Asher still isn't back and I was sat, staring out of the window, looking at the stars since we had Astronomy in half an hour. We went to Astronomy and even when we got back, we still couldn't see Asher anywhere. We went to bed wondering where Asher was.

~~~Time skip brought to you Harry being the most oblivious person on earth~~~

I woke up at about 6:12 and looked over to Asher's bed, it was empty. I laid in bed for another twenty minutes so it was about 6:30 when I got up properly and I got into the shower and into school uniform. I grabbed my school stuff and walked down into the common room. I sat there, going over my Potions homework then I saw the portrait open and Asher walked in.
"Asher!" I exclaimed.
"H-hey!" Asher replied, clearly surprised to see me and he seemed extremely tired.
"Where were you last night?"
"Emergency came up, can't talk about it though, otherwise I'd tell you."
I didn't believe him but I went with it. "Oh, okay. I think you need to get ready for school."
"Yeah, I'll be back down soon."
"Okay."

He came back down with Fred, Lee and Kieran.
"Morning Georgie!" Fred said as I got up and we began to walk to breakfast.

The day went by normally and I kept an eye on Asher and he seemed more tired than normal and by the time we got back to the dorm he practically collapsed onto his bed and laid there, unmoving.
"Are you sure you can't tell us what the emergency was about?" I asked him, sitting on the edge of his bed.
"I can't tell you guys, otherwise I..." He mumbled before falling asleep.
"He really is tired, isn't he?" Lee said, going to start his Charms homework, Kieran doing the same.
"Yeah, we can let him sleep till dinner and he can sleep from when we get back till we need to head to Astronomy." Fred said, getting his own Charms homework out.
"Yeah," I said, grabbing my own homework and doing the same.

~~Time Skip from the Ferret~~

At dinner, I kept gently nudging Asher to keep him awake so he doesn't face plant his dinner. He went to sleep in the common room and we walked to Astronomy and Asher was excused from the homework as he wasn't in the lesson.
