"I'm hungry" You pouted to yourself as you walked in a slouchy manner.
You've passed by multiple frozen boars but the thing is.. you were vegetarian, just like your sister.
So you eat greens like an actual cocogoat.
So far, you only collected a bunch of sweet flowers. What can you make with these? You have no idea.
You also needed to find shelter as soon as possible, the evening was approaching very quickly. Way more monsters are lurking in the dark, and this time, Xiao won't be there to protect you since you're in Mondstadt now—he's usually the one to accompany you when you get lost in the dark.
"Dear Barbatos, is this a punishment for trespassing in your land?" You sighed.
As it starts to get darker, and darker, and darker, there were still no signs of food ingredients, and your legs were getting weaker.
Luckily, you managed to find a boulder where you can take shelter under it. You sat down, arms on your knees, chin on your arms. From there, you could see the city lights of Mondstadt, the view was quite breathtaking.
Slowly, your eyes gets heavier and heavier until eventually you fell asleep.

You felt bright light was shining in front of you while your eyes were still closed. Bothered by it's brightness, you opened your eyes.
What stood before you was man with beautiful blonde hair and bright teal eyes, holding a lamp. You also noticed his vision was geo, as it shows just by the glowing orb on his neck.
"Uh..." You looked at him awkwardly as you noticed he was staring at you for a hot minute.
"Oh, was I staring? I apologize for my rudeness" He clears his throat and stood up properly. His voice felt so soothing in the ears.
"Why are you sleeping out in the cold?" He questioned, his eyes stares down at your e/c eyes.
"I didn't find any camps.." You answered.
"Are you cold? Here, take my coat" He quickly tries to take off his coat, but you immediately stopped him.
"No it's fine! I'm immune to the cold, I have cryo vision you see" You gave him a reassuring smile.
While both of you were exchanging glances, your stomach began to rumble. Embarrassed, you hide your face with your hair.
"You're hungry" The man chuckles. For some reason, hearing his chuckle made your stomach get butterflies. His voice makes you feel safe.
"Why don't you join me and my sister for dinner?" He smiles.
You look up at him and immediately denied. "Eh? You really don't have to!"
He already stretched out his arm to help you get up, guess you don't have a choice. You were seriously starving.
"Thank you" You said in a soft voice.
You follow him to a little cave where everything was so warm. There were also tables filled with papers and bottles of weird colored liquid. He must be part of the investigation team.
"Oh! Miss cocogoat!" You hear a familiar voice. It was Klee.
"Klee? Wait... so you're her brother?" You looked at the blonde man.
"Not by blood, but we're siblings nonetheless" He corrected before placing down his lamp and walking over to the campfire.
"wait a second- how do you know about this cocogoat word" You questioned Klee.
"When me and onii-san went to Liyue, I met a purple girl who keeps mentioning about cocogoats! Now that I think about it... she must be talking about you!" She smiled.
Of course.. no other than Qiqi herself.
"Cocogoats don't really exist" You said in a gloomy tone, you always had to say these lines in front of Qiqi several times. Getting tired.
"Dinner's ready" Said the man as he places some bowls on an empty table.
"That was fast" You said as both you and Klee sat down.
"Indeed, I was just missing some carrots" You stared at the man's beautiful face, he looks even good-looking when he's so focused.
"What's this?" You looked down on your bowl, it smells heavenly.
"Barbatos Ratatouille" He answers, "It's famous all over Mondstadt, haven't you heard?"
"I'm actually from Liyue" You awkwardly laughed, digging in to one of Mondstadt's delicious dishes.
"Liyue huh? Then you must be... an adeptus? Judging by your horns?"
You just hummed in response.
"Oh right, I haven't properly introduced myself" You said with a mouthful, quickly placing down your spoon. "I'm Y/N, an adeptus and Ganyu's younger sister from the Liyue Qixing" You lightly bowed your head.
"I am Albedo, Chief Alchemist of the Knights of Favonius" He introduces himself formally.
"So you're the captain of the investigation team" You stare at him in awe. "Are you gonna kick me out of this place?!" You looked down, pouting your lips.
"Why would I do such a thing?"
"Only you guys can explore this place. I'm not supposed to be here, I'm not a citizen of Mondstadt, nor am I part of the adventurers guild. So I'm basically trespassing Dragonspine" You nervously explained.
"Well I'm not gonna do that..... unless" Albedo thinks for a bit.
"unless....?" You gulped.
"You let me study you"
"eh?" You looked at him dumbfounded.
"You carry the aura of gods alike, that's interesting... I would like to study you, if you do not mind. I'm certain we will have many opportunities to be alone in the future"
That last part made you choke on your saliva. Interesting.
"U-Uh are you gonna.. like.. chop off my horns?" You looked at him with terrified eyes, caressing your horns.
"Of course not" He shakes his head. "I simply wanna study the culture of the adepti, they are indeed fascinating creatures and I've never seen one until now" He explains.
"I see.. well I guess I don't mind if that means I could stay a little longer"
"That's settled then" He continues to eat his food.
