It's almost been a week which means you're returning home soon. You know what they say; Time flies when you're having fun.

You've only explored a little bit of the mountain since lots of things were getting in the way, most of all Albedo still wants to study you. So you feel bad moving around.

So far you've discovered a huge cave with an ice shard, a huge boar, and an icy cold river that lead to a sword—which summoned abyss mages afterwards. These very few days of your investigation wasn't enough, you wanted to scout the entire mountain. But for the sake of your worrywart sister, you need to come home.

You'll still comeback, but you're certain that once you do, the hidden puzzles will be solved and the mysteries will be discovered.

Other than that, you do kinda wish you'd spend time with Albedo a little longer.

Time really is cruel.

"Y/N? Are you feeling well?"

"wha- uh yeah" You snapped back to reality. You were currently reading some paperwork of the investigation team's progress. It seems the ice shard you found back at the cave was the access to the top of the mountain. Meanwhile, Albedo was experimenting the snow you just created with your vision.

"Mr. Albedo, I've only got 2 days left. Is one week enough to complete your study of the adepti?" You questioned, looking up at him.

"certainly isn't, but I am not one to force you to stay. After all, your sister awaits you" He answers, though feeling devastated your days together will come to an end.

"come to the Lantern Rite festival, will you?" Your eyes sparkled with passion as you had the idea of inviting him to Liyue.

"If I do, will you gladly take the invitation I give you to the Windblume festival?" He turns to look at your beautiful e/c orbs.

"sounds fun~" You cheered. The Lantern Rite festival was coming up next month, so inviting Albedo over will very much make you happy. You can't wait to light up your lanterns together.

"but only as friends! It's not like we're a couple or something" Your cheeks heated up by your own childish thoughts.

Anyway, the two of you won't be alone. You'll force Xiao to join the festival...... again.

And you can't forget about little miss Klee. It'll be the greatest festival you'll ever experience for the first time in a hundred years.

"Sir Albedo, I'm here" You heard a very soft gentle voice coming from outside the camp. Turning around, you see a girl with green hair and rosey red cheeks.

"Ah Sucrose, right on time"

"H-Hello there" She stutters as she sees you. You just slightly waved your hand in response.

"This is Y/N, the adeptus I'm studying on. Y/N, This is Sucrose, my fellow alchemy student" He introduces.

"So what do you need me for, sir?"

You went back to reading the papers on the table, taking no part of their discussion.

Albedo started giving a few assignments to sucrose.

"Also, Klee recently went home a few days ago. But mother suddenly got important work to do, so is it too much for you to take care of her?"

"Not at all sir, I'd love to cook her favorite dish again" Sucrose smiled.
