Lauren's POV

It's been a month since Gabe tried apologizing to me and I knew it was pointless cause he hasn't changed at all he hasn't tried helping me at school he hasn't tried anything. His friends have talked to me here and there at the house and their not bad guys so I don't understand why they hang out with Gabe at all. Right now I was sitting on the couch when they all came running in
G- this is amazing
Dal- this is awesome
L- what is
G- none of your business
W- be nice
G- whatever
C- since he wants to be rude I'll fill you in and that's were going on tour for the summer
G- which is thankfully only a week away
L- yay so I finally get to be away from you
G- why do you think I said thankfully to it being so soon
L- I'm well aware why
G- of course since you are the nerd
L- and you're the asshole
G- I'd rather be an ass then be like you
And then he walked away and some of the guys followed him while some stayed in the room with me
W- I'm sorry you have to deal with him acting like this towards you
L- it's fine I'm used to it
C- you shouldn't be though he's your brother he should be protecting you
W- especially since he's all you have
L- honestly it's fine
C- how are you so strong with all this
L- well I've been bullied all my life and Gabe has been this since way since a year after our parents died so you get used to it and grow thick skin not that I need it since I'm thick enough
W- Lauren
L- don't act like it's not true and I appreciate you guys trying to be there for me but we all know Gabe is pissed at that so you should go back to him
C- are you sure
L- yeah and by the way congratulations on the tour
W&C- thanks
They smiled at me then went to Gabes room and I watched some more tv while finishing up the little bit of work I still have left to do. I can't wait for them to leave cause then I will finally have some peace.
