Chapter 2 : Cold

"So if I had to resume everything : you people of The red and black territory found a strange man and helped him because he didn't stop to talk about the end of the world. Then he broke the spell of the magic barrier letting you see us.", YN said elbows on the table.

" You forgot the part where they were attacked by strange creatures too", added Nico, the Queen of Diamonds.

" Thanks Nico. I guess our situation is kinda similar to yours" YN looked at Lancelot and Ray.

After the two strangers left them, all the armies had a meeting to talk about the situation.

Being around cold dirigeants was not a simple thing, nobody wanted to collaborate because of suspicion between them.

YN sighed. { It won't be easy, even if we do what the man told us, which means following the compass, I can't let my territory defenseless...I'm not that crazy to let them in stranger's hands, but in the other side, I have to know where the compass will lead us...}.

Elias came closer to YN. " You're not pretty when you're frowning, you know that ?" He laughed.

" If you knew how much I don't care about it..." she looked away.

" You know you can rely on us". He took the girl's attention.  " I mean, you chose us,  right ? It means you know we are able to support you in everything you ask.  We'll do everything for you YN" he kneeled like a knight.

YN was touched by his kind words. Being a King was such a responsibility, she had the bad habit to take everything on her. She smiled then stood up.

"Please listen." She looked confident and spoke loudly. " As the king of Diamonds of the yellow army and also the king of the yellow territory, I, YN, will do everything I can to protect people of my territory. For my territory's sake and its people, I'll follow the compass with a minority of my army. Until I find a way to save us, I propose a pact of non-agression."

Nobody spoke.

Ray looked at the girl from head to toes. {I can't deny her assurance. But if she goes only with her army, we can't say what she'll find out, if it's dangerous or not. Besides this, I can't let a lady risk her life so stupidly. Whatever her position in her army, as a man, it's a shame to let a woman alone do all the work}

Ray sighed crossing his arms. "I'll accompany you, weirdo".

YN was surprised but kinda happy before she noticed the end of his sentence. " What was the weirdo for ?" She pouted.

"That's just what you're. Weirdo".

Ylan, King of clubs coughed.  " I agree with this decision. Sending 2/4 people from each territory sounds good. Meanwhile I'll give a help to protect you territory YN with the generals you let here".

Lancelot give to Ray a glance which means he'll do the same even if he didn't really want to.

YN smiled proudly "Kaiden and Elias you'll come with me "

some soldiers were talking between them " She took the 10 and the Jack of Diamonds ! I heard they were really strong".

" Nico, Nemu, I rely on you"

"Sure Lady YN" Nico bowed.

" Fenrir and Luka you come with me" said Ray calmly.

"Oh yeah ! I hope we will fight ", exclaimed Fenrir.

" Come on, fighting is all you think about !" Said Seth.
