Two blonde women stood among the many young people who were soon to be attending the school known as Alfea. The older blonde, Samara Richards, looked at the castle fondly, while the younger, Coraline or as she preferred to be called Cora, looked around her.
Cora saw a brunette girl wearing green, holding a tray of plants with a man arranging them. Her blue eyes scanned to see a pretty girl with with braids in her hair, a gorgeous blonde taking selfies with other girls, while another girl with headphones smiled and waved briefly before concentrating on her phone then she faintly noticed a brunette twirling a knife and finally her eyes set on a redhead who looked lost.
"Are you sure you'll be okay?" Samara asked worryingly
Cora chuckled, brushing some of her light blonde hair behind her ear and smiled brightly "Yes, Mum. I'll be okay."
"Nowadays, I'd be naive not to worry about my daughter's well-being." Her mother softly spoke, placing her right hand under her child's chin.
"I. Will. Be. Fine." Cora drew out each word "I'll call and text you every night, okay?"
Samara smiled and nodded before hugging Cora "I love you so much, Coraline."
"I love you too, Mum." Cora recuperated the hug, and let go, even though her mother was reluctant, she let go too.
"Have fun!" Samara yelled as she began to walk away. Cora grinned and waved at her mother as she watched her walk away.
Sighing heavily, and making sure not to try in front of potential bullies, Cora wiped her eyes with her thumbs, grabbed her two suitcases and dragged them with her, to the redhead from earlier.
"Hi! You a first year too?" Cora asked, offering the redhead a smile.
The redhead nods "I'm Bloom."
"Cora Richards. Where are you from?" Cora replied
"California." Bloom chuckled nervously.
Cora noticed and wrapped an arm around the redhead's shoulders "Relax, think of it like this, no parents to nag us to be like them."
Bloom smiled, as the two decide to walk to a building that looked close to a normal school dorm when a blonde boy walks towards the girls, mainly on Bloom's left.
"Wow. You are so lost. I'm impressed with your confidence in the face of complete ignorance. Issue is, you're overcommitted. I mean, you're essentially running. And now that I'm here, you can't give me the satisfaction of turning around..."
Bloom cut him off "I don't need help, but thanks."
The blonde boy chuckled and smiled at the American "I don't remember offering it. So presumptuous. You must be a fairy."
"I AM a fairy." Bloom responded before laughing "Sorry, that's just something I never thought I would say."
"It's an odd thing, considering you're standing in a courtyard of a college for fairies." The blonde guy argues
"We don't have a lot of those where I'm from." Bloom sheepishly replied
He scrunched his face in curiosity "And what realm are you from?"
"California"
"London. Before that it was Australia." Cora piped in
"Oh, you're not from the Otherworld?" He asked
