[A TINGE OF PINK]
And my soul saw you and it kind of went 'Oh there you are, I've been looking for you'
"Shots!" I inspirited the group of men on table ten, steadily hoisting my glass in the air.
Everyone winch their glasses in the air before swigging down their drinks, tonight is a typical spring break picture at Jackals - affluent college students spending their last week of freedom to run around, drink boost, party and spend their parent's money.
A golden opportunity for me to sell out tonight, customers are now starting to crowd, usually, people would come around this time since Itaewon's nightlife begins near midnight. Given the current body count, I'd be fortunate to sell out before two in the morning which would give me enough time to head home and catch some sleep before going to the hotel.
"You guys need more bottle of that wonder drink - let me know, I'll get you one from the bar." I sneered before putting the glass down on the surface. These guys are already on their third bottle of Hwayo X Premium - one more and I'll be hitting my target tonight.
"Stay here, baby." the other guy who looks younger than me sang, slightly slurring.
"I can't, you guys know that I need to serve more drinks around not unless you can buy everything on my tab. I can sit here all night!" I returned in a sweet tone, slowly rising up from the couch.
"Once I become Dr. Jang, I'll go back here and buy all your tab so I can keep you here beside me." one of the men who seem to be the leader of the pack jeered.
"Alright, I see you." I returned still smiling, he was about to grab my waist but I was quick to distance myself and is now thinking about an escape plan. "I'll definitely remember that Doctor!"
The club lights start flashing different hues as the speakers blasted a loud roaring sound of L'amour Toujours, I smirked then threw my gaze on the stage as Zion - the club's resident DJ started his second set for tonight. He quickly shoots a finger heart at me, this guy sure is a massive help in situations like this.
Everyone quickly dashed on the dance floor which lets me walk back to the bar, overlooked. I have been working part-time for almost three years as a beverage cart attendant - not by profession but just a peculiar one-time gig that I happen to be fucking good at.
I continue to stride then help myself up to sit on the barstool still roaming my eyes around the bar, looking for a prospect table that I can attend to - hopefully, big spenders.
"Can I get you anything, pretty one?"
I chuckled and swivel the seat to face the bar, that familiar high-pitched voice always gets me all hyped up cause hearing it means I'll get a free drink tonight without going through the hassle of a cliche -'hi, can I buy you a drink?' from some random jerk.
"What do you want in exchange for a glass of scotch, babe?" I proposed sounding all flirtatious, even flipped my loose curls, and bit my lower lip while staring at her seductively which makes her snicker.
"Uh, your face and body please?"
"Pass! I need all these to make money! Keep your scotch!" I roll my eyes then blew out some air acting a little bit annoyed to get my way like usual.
"Aish! Stop sulking you alcohol-thirsty bitch, here you go." she rallied then push in Bushmills in a tulip glass just as I like it, capturing that sweet and demonic aroma of this brilliant whisky.
