[BREAKEVEN]
'Let it remain as a memory and don't go back to what your heart has already healed from.'
Christmas is just around the corner meaning the hotel operation is in full swing as reservations went up compared to the usual number considering Christmas is more like the Valentines for couples in Seoul.
Kyungsoo and I planned to spend it together in Hannam after lunch with his family which has been like a weekly thing.
His Mom would always send me a message every now and then asking me how I am doing and all - which was something unusual for me but I can actually get used to it, I can tell.
I can't put into words how relieved I am that both his parents like me, well probably an understatement as he would always say that they love me more than him which was not a lie - I absolutely feel that by how his parents are treating me.
I just assured him that I love him more than anyone else, his response - "I am saved."
"Noona, have you got the schedule for the interview?" Byeol asked seemingly curious about my application with the Managerial post to which I just responded with a nod.
I graduated last week, fucking proud and glad that I did.
Now I have to make use of those certificates since the Hotel Management asked me to apply for the Front Desk Managerial position yesterday, they said just for formality since I did pretty well for the last two years - they just need to review my records and schedule the interview within this week which was something I am looking forward to.
"Oh, I am so jealous Noona! You graduated last week, then have been selected for that position not to mention you have Chef Do as your boyfriend. Where was I when the deities are showering the world with blessings?" he sang in a feigned crying tone.
"Probably sleeping, Byeolie!"
"I know right, and you are on top of Namsan Tower getting showered with luck. To make it even better - you are done with your shift now!" he added, now pouting adorably.
"Yah, Byeolie! Don't be like that, now sit down and relax your sulking ass back there. I'll do one last guest for you before I go, so you can have time to breath - m'kay?" I suggested firmly prompting him to smile from ear to ear before pointing his pouty lips on the main entrance then mouthed 'VIP'.
I swing my head sideways then turn to the computer so I can check in the guest, my last guest for tonight. I was about to say our opening spiel but I discerned Byeol getting up from his seat as I was anticipating what he'd do for a VIP.
"Welcome to Seoul Hotel, do you have reservations?" Byeol quickly and flirtatiously.
Assessing by sensual his voice sounds, this guest might be an Idol or a male model or celebrity which is very much his type. I didn't pay much attention as my eyes were glued on the screen as some of the rooms from the fifth floor were blinking red which means they are requesting room service.
"Can I please get your name so we can look it up?" Byeol continued probably getting a nod in response to his question.
I have been able to send a request for all available room service staff thru our systems then flick onto the main page of the hotel for reservations to check the name of the client Byeol is currently attending to.
"Byun." I stopped then swallowed. "Byun Baekhyun."
Upon hearing that name and that familiar voice, cold sweat started plodding my body only because I was startled. I swiftly typed his name and kept my eyes darted on the screen then saw his presidential suite reservation about a week ago for three days.
