The return

-Next day-

Elena was the first one awake in the Gilbert house hold, but since it was a Friday, and her kids have to meet their dad, she got them the day off school. Unexpectedly Klaus and Elijah arrived as she made the call to the school.

" good morning Elena." Elijah said walking in the house since he was invited in before. " How will we invite my brother in?"

" Wait for Jeremy to wake up." Elena said looking at the original vampire.

" Mommy.." Grayson whispered rubbing his eyes walking down the stairs.

" Good morning little man." Elena said walking to her son picking him up holding him in her arms. " how was your sleep?"

" Good.. mom who is the guy in a suit?" Grayson asked his mother.

" That's your uncle Elijah." Elena said sighing

Grayson looked heat his uncle in confusion when his mother set him down. Elijah looked down at the young boy with a smile on his face.

" Your weird." Grayson said

" Why's that?" Elijah asked

" Wearing a suit all the time." Grayson replied to the original vampire.

" so I'm weird for wearing a suit." Elijah said laughing. " just like Niklaus."

Grayson noticed his sister rushing down the stairs being followed by their uncle Jeremy, they were always excited to see him every morning.

" Uncle Jeremy!" Grayson yelled running to his uncle.

" Let me in little Gilbert." Klaus growled

Jeremy looked over at Elena who nodded to let him in the house.

" Come in Klaus." Jeremy said sighing.

" Thank you Little Gilbert." Klaus said looking over at Elena. " Go on sweetheart, I would like to meet my other children."

" I'm not your sweetheart Klaus. Gray, Char come here." Elena shouted

The two kids ran from their little art room set in the house. Klaus was shocked how much his son looked like him, and his daughter had his eyes but a lot like her mother.

" Yes mommy?" The twins asked

" come here." Elena said waving her hand to them to walk to her.

When the twins approached their mother they were nervous about what would happen. Elena knew that they were scared and would die protecting them.

" Who's the grumpy guy mom?" Grayson asked pointing to Klaus

" That's your father Gray." Elena said " And he is Mr.grumpy."

" my little wolf." Elena said getting Charlotte's attention.

" Yes mommy?" Charlotte asked

" Say hi to your father sweetheart." Elena said looking in her daughters dark blue eyes which reminded her of Klaus.

Charlotte walked up to Klaus holding her wolf stuffed animal. Klaus felt calm around the twins, but deep down he was angry with Elena for keeping the twins from him.

" Hello..I'm Charlotte and that's Grayson.." Charlotte said in her shy tone.

" Hello sweetheart." Klaus said bending down. " I'm your father."

Then unexpectedly Charlotte hugged Klaus. Elena was nervous how he would reach just meet-meeting them. But he hugged her back which made Elena shocked.
