Chapter One

Aragorn stood under the big oak that the elf had disappered up into.

"Come down Legolas, or I have to leave you here. And that would be a shame." The elves beautiful laugh ecoed to answer.

Legolas jumped down from the tree and landed smoothly. Arod jumped slightly but calmed down when he saw who it was.

"Sorry Arod, i didn't want to scare you" said the elf and kissed the white horse on the nose.

"We should keep going, we need to find a camp before the nigth." Aragorn said.

"What are we waiting for?" Said Legolas playfully and jumped up the horse.

Aragorn sat up behind the elf and they rode off.

Legolas POV 

We were going on a small trip before we would return to Gondor and meet up with the rest of the fellowship. Well everybody except Frodo and Gandalf as they had sailed away to the undying lands. Me and Aragorn decided to go on a journey. I thougt of asking Gimli to join us but I wanted to spend time with Aragorn alone. Ever since the battle of middle earth i had loved him. He saved my life several times. I would lie if I said i didn't like having his strong hands on my hips.

"We stay here for tonight. Tomorrow we ride to Gondor."

"Alright". I jump off Arod and look around. We had stopped next to a small lake with green grass growing on the grownd.

I sat down i the grass next to a big tree. Aragorn stood four meters away and opend the bag and throwed a lembas to me.

"Hannon le" ( thank you ), I said.

He looked to the lake and then back to me. My blue eyes met his green eyes and he smirked to me. Those eyes was the most beautiful thing i have ever seen. I really loved him. But I knew that Aragorn would never feel the same so kept it hidden. 

"Legolas Come on". I snapped out of my thoughts. "Come on, let's take a bath."

"Wha-" I was interuppted by Aragorn taking his shirt of and laughing. He ran down to the water and stopped as his feet touched the water.

"Cold, cold, cold!" I giggled as I stood up and began unbuttoning my shirt. As soon as I was done I ran after him into the water. Becuase I am an elf I cant feel cold or heat. I swam to Aragorn and when I stopped he was about 2 meters away from me. It would be so easy form me just to jump forward and kiss him. I wanted it so badly but I could not. He would never forgive me. He laughed and splashed water in my face. It took a moment for me to realize what happend and then i splashed back at him. We continued play untill Aragorn spoke.

"I'm freesing, can we go up and start a fire?"

"Alright" I answerd.

We got up and got dressed. I starten packing up blankets and some food.  Aragorn returned with a stack of wood. He made a fire as fast as always. I had always wondered how he could make up a fire that quick. But than again, there was many things I did not understand with this amazing man. We ate in silence and prepared to sleep. I lay down on a blanket two meters away from Aragorn.

"Goodnight Mellon-nin." ( My friend ).

"Goodnight Aragorn" I said before falling asleep.
