He stood on the stairs before backing up against the railing. He threw his head back and let out an exasperated sigh.

"We can't keep doing this."

He thought to himself.

He couldn't get her out of his head.

The way her cheeks expanded when she smiled, how her eyes got smaller and her expression would brighten a thousand times.

"I just need to tell her."

He came to the conclusion that his confessions had never ended well for him before, and he so desperately wanted her to speak first.

But he was tired of the longing stares and his racing heart every time they touched.

He wanted to be with her before she was dragged into the limelight with her debut.

He was already jealous, and the world hadn't even seen her beauty yet.

His hand hovered over the doorknob. Her dorm was here, in the place she shared with their group mates.

All he wanted was to open it.
All he wanted was to pull her away and wrap her in his arms.

Han Seojun was going absolutely insane, and he could barely hide it anymore.

This girl would be death of him.

The sky was dark, and the light pollution blocked out most of the stars.
The blanketed expanse held a seemingly myriad number of galaxies, but he couldn't see them. He couldn't see them because of the lights of the earth blocking them out, and a layer of clouds that wouldn't seem to move out of his atmosphere.

And then he took a breath.

Because breathing seemed like the only thing he knew how to do in that moment.
