Over the weekend the girls had a two day stage presence coaching session with all other groups from ST Entertainment.
Each day was eight hours long, filled with comprehensive training of each group that pointed out each of their strengths and weaknesses, and even pitted different groups against each other briefly.
Of course, it was uncomfortable to see The Beauties.
Being the only two girl groups under their label, The Beaties and O2 Angels, tensions were high.
Sunhwa could remember some of the Beauties from her early trainee days, but the group had debuted two years prior to hers, so there was little interaction.
But there was definitely a pride issue for both groups.
Tensions with Damin had ceased, as all five girls were bonded together over a common enemy.
It was clear that the newer, younger, female idol group was setting new records for their music videos that The Beauties couldn't dare get close to.
Nonetheless, by the end of the weekend Sunhwa was very emotionally and physically drained.
Monday morning they had a photoshoot, and then they were free for the rest of the day after they did some vocal training.
So, for reasons unknown to Sunhwa herself, she called up Im Jugyeong and Choi Sooah for drinks.
The blonde met them outside a cute bar, wearing mom jeans and a cropped tan sweater. Her long hair was tied up into a cute bun, and she was just happy to be away from the consuming idol life for a few hours.
"Should we get pork belly?" Sooah cried enthusiastically as she dragged in the twenty year old. Sunhwa laughed and agreed, taking a seat beside Im Jugyeong at the table.
Looking up, she spotted a young female that hadn't been at the class reunion.
"Who's this?.."
She had a more square face, but was very pretty. Her naturally dark hair was long and smooth, and she wore a professional looking outfit and a calm aura.
"Kang Sujin, one of our classmates as well."
"Nice to meet you, I'm Ahn Sunhwa."
Both girls bowed their heads before looking up again.
"I couldn't make it to the reunion, I had to work." Kang Sujin's voice was deep and soft as she explained.
