We're almost at my hotel, 'So how many points do you have?' Till asks me. I sigh in defeat before I answer, 'twelve' I tell him, deciding not to leave any thank yous out. Till laughs, making me look confused at him, 'What? How many do you have then?' I ask. 'Just a few more hours' Till tells me, 'then I'll tell you'. I roll my eyes, 'I wouldn't have told you if I knew you weren't going to tell me'
'So what restaurant are we going to?' I ask. 'I'll pick you up, alright? trust me' Till explains, 'just be ready at about six o'clock' I nod, understanding, 'alright.
Till stops the car in front of my hotel, 'see you in a few!' I tell him, grabbing my stuff before getting out. The warm, setting sun hits my face as I walk to the entrance of the building. I wave at Till's car before walking in. When I get in my room, the first thing I do is getting ready for our date.
I put some extra effort in getting ready and when I finally am, I can't do anything but wait. I even feel myself getting a little nervous and catch myself checking the time a lot.
It's almost six, so I grab my purse and walk to the door and open it. I'm being greeted by Till having his hand up to knock on the door. Till and I chuckle at each other, 'Gotta be faster than that' I tease. Till smiles at me, 'ready to go?'.
I nod, walking out and locking the door. I follow Till out of the hotel, quickly into his car. While we're on our date, we have conversations that never seem to end and I enjoy every second of it. We talk about music, our past and our future. We even teach each other a little of our own language.
Then the moment finally is there. We both finish our dessert the moment I take my last bite, Till starts talking, 'So, twelve points, right?' He asks. I chuckle, 'exactly. How many points do you have?' I ask. 'Eleven' He answer. I sigh, 'shit' I mumble to myself. Till chuckles teasingly, 'too bad for you!' he says.
The waitress takes our empty plates, 'Can I offer you two anything else?' She asks. 'No, we would like the bill, please' Till tells her. 'Alright, coming right up!' she says before walking off.
'Thank you' He says. I raise my eyebrows and smile brightly at him, 'Twelve!' I say. TIll covers his face with his hands, 'Verdammt nochmal' He mumbles to himself. 'So that means we're splitting?' I ask. Till nods, 'I think that's fair'
The waitress brings us our bill, 'Bitte schön' she says before walking on. 'Dankeschön' Till answers before looking straight at me, 'wait...' I laugh again, covering my mouth, 'Till, you're doing it on purpose now' I chuckle.
'No, I swear, I'm not!' He chuckles. I'm not sure wether he's speaking the truth or not, but I don't mind, he's paying for our meal. 'I can pay for the drinks?' I offer. Till chuckles, 'No, no, our rules were clear!' He says, making me chuckle.
Till pays for our dinner and we walk out of the restaurant again, 'so what are you going to do on your day off?' He asks me as he drives back to my hotel. I think about it for a moment, 'I think I'll be busy with editing' I tell him, what about you?'
Till thinks about it for a moment, 'I think I will be sleeping for the biggest part of the day' He tells me with a chuckle, 'but other than that I don't know yet'
We talk for a small while before arriving at my hotel. 'Well, without feeling guilty I can finally thank you now, so thank you, Till' I tell him. Till stops the car and smiles at me, 'It was my pleasure, (Y/N)' he says.
I smile shyly and unbuckle my seatbelt, 'I'll see you later' I tell him, hinting at Richard's party they planned. 'Have a great day off! Take some time for yourself too, enjoy Germany for a while' He says. I smile and get out of the car, 'Thank you!' I say again before shutting the door.
As I open the door to my hotelroom, I think about what he told me. Is he not coming over at Richard's?
A little later I realize it's almost time for Richard to pick me up. I check my phone for any messages.
Richard: I'll be there in ten minutes! You ready?
I was born ready! See you in a few
I quickly freshen myself up a bit and change into something more casual before going back downstairs. When I walk down the last stairs I start wondering if I should have brought anything. I have no idea how they do it with bringing snacks and drinks.I snap out of my thoughts when I see a familiar car pull up in front of the building. I walk outside and squint my eyes to make sure it's Richard behind the steeringwheel.
I greet him while I get in. 'Hi, (Y/N), ready to party!?' he says excited. I chuckle amused, 'haven't had a party in a while, so yeah!' I admit, buckling my seatbelt.
'So who will be coming tonight?' I ask, glancing over at Richard. 'Some friends of ours that live around here' he tells me, 'some come from a little further away, I think you'll like them' he explains, 'one of them sometimes comes with us on tour for photo's'
I nod, listening to him, 'Nice!' I tell him. I watch the sun set as we drive through some pretty German landscapes. I enjoy the view and lose track of time for a while.
'So I hear you went on a date with Till?' Richard asks. I swallow and feel my cheeks heat up before looking at him. 'Ehm...well I wouldn't call it a date' I say before I breathe an awkward chuckle. 'No?' Richard asks curious. His face seems pretty neutral, it doesn't seem like he's got an opinion on the matter.
'Alright, it started with a challenge we came up with, because I thanked everyone a lot' I tell him, 'maybe you noticed too' I can't help but snicker, 'every time someone carried something for me, opened the door for me or anything like that'
Richard chuckles, 'Yeah, well I didn't think anything of it. Isn't it normal to thank someone when they do something for you?' he asks. I nod, 'well that's what I thought, but Till and I made a challenge out of it. Whoever said thank you the most in the last few days had to have a punishment' I explain, 'and that was paying for dinner'
Richard laughs a little, 'And who lost?' I start laughing too, 'Till did! Although I think he did it on purpose, because I was about to pay for the meal we had, but Till said thank you two times and with that, he lost' I smile to myself at the thought of the face he made.
Richard parks the car, 'well, let's go up, everyone will arrive in a little while' He tells me. I get out as he does and we walk into the hotel. WE step into the elevator and I think of something to say. I clear my throat, 'I didn't bring anything, by the way, didn't really have the time to get anything' I explain.
'Oh don't worry about it' Richard tells me, 'we have enough already' We walk through the hallway, to his hotelroom. 'Is the whole band staying in this hotel?' I ask. 'yep! Next to me is Oliver, Paul is two doors down, Flake to the left and the rest is down the hall' Richard explains, pointing down the hallway.
He opens the door and steps in. I follow him in and look around the still empty room. 'Take a seat! I'll grab us something to drink' he says, walking to the small fridge in the corner of the room. I sit down and spot a lot of bottles in the fridge, beer, liquor and soda. 'What do you like to drink?' Richard asks, grabbing one bottle of beer.
'I hear German beer is good, so let me try one' I answer. 'Very good choice' he says before walking over with the two bottles. He opens them up and hands me one. 'Thanks!' I tell him before sipping it.
