In the roaming heat of the desert, straying further from the river, they kept walking under the sun.
"It's so hot. I'm dying," Zone whined.
"Shut up. You're not even walking," said Runa while carrying Zone on his bag. But not long, the mighty wind pushed them away. Everyone covered their eyes as the sand hit them. But a tiny glimpse, Runa saw a sand tornado.
"Dust Devil!" Runa shouted. Everyone panicked, trying to find a hiding spot. They found a broken-down house, no doors and barricaded windows. They rushed to the house and took cover.
"Wow, what a sandstorm," Cronibet said. While everyone exhausted and tried to get rid of the sand, Vaval saw two silhouettes of a human in the middle of the storm.
"How is there someone standing in the sandstorm?" Vaval asked. Soon, Runa noticed the silhouettes too.
"Equipment, I supposed," Zone answered while getting rid of the sand in her hat. The silhouettes were getting closer. Runa and Vaval realized and forced everyone to duck down and kept quiet.
Vaval said that they had a problem. Zone and Cronibet were confused about what was happening.
"What's going on?" Cronibet asked.
Vaval replied, "This is a trap."
