It's been a 6 weeks since Derek had died. Time flies. Andrew had been on the down low for time time that passed, but just so Meredith can pull herself together.
*Merediths phone beeps*
She doesn't answer. Andrew starts to get worried, and calls a few more times. Still, no response.
Andrew took enough and thought he had to do something.. and quick. He headed over to Mer's house to go check on her. She doesn't answer the door after Andrew knocks.
A solid 35 seconds went by, so Andrew took the backup key under the doormat to unlock the front door. "Mer? ... Meredith?? Are you okay?" again, no answer. He runs upstairs and bangs on her closed bedroom door. Mer suddenly wakes up with an immense train of fear. Andrew breaks down the door while panicking.
"What the fuck Andrew"
"Sorry.. I- uh.. didn't know" Andrew stammered.
"What? What did you think? You thought I killed myself?? Andrew! I'm fine just leave me alone!"
Mer is pissed at him to this point. She feels she is being treated like some sentimental child.
"I'm sorry.. I- I'll just go. My bad"
2 hours after
at work
"Hey, Andrew.. I'm sorry about earlier. I shouldn't have gone off at you like that."
Mer apologetically interferes
"Don't worry, your in the grieving process, i get it."
"look.. i know your just trying to be nice but I promise I'm fine. You don't need to pity me."
After she said that, she didn't know what to do. Everything got so quiet.
"okay. im sorry, I'll stop now. as long as your okay. but if you ever need anything, mer, you can talk to me."
"I know."
The two get back on good terms and then came a solicitous hug.
Andrew gets sudden butterflies in his stomach. He feels that Meredith trusts him, based off of her body language. Mer pulls away out of the hug and looks at Andrew. He looks back at her, but he looks her deep in her beautiful blue eyes. Andrew goes in for a kiss, without Mer's consent.
"oh my god. im sorry." he says
"I.. I have to go." Meredith says, as she walks out of the room.
