selfishness .

you whisper all your poisoned words into my soul
until all my bones are cracked
and stampeded from your madden curse you inflicted in me,
the poison dripping from your
rosy, pink lips
that bled me dry along with the stars in the sky that no longer
shine;
you drained the beauty from the sky to paint yourself the masterpiece
you wear every morning,
your eyes love to rip my soul right out from my crest
as the selfishness runs through your veins,
the sky is bleeding while my hands shake,
your rosy pink lips taunt me
with ivy covered kisses that
burn me to the core.
you built the universe around your existence
only to burn yourself to the ground.
