Train ride and hogwarts

Before this chapter starts I just want to congratulate @bobbyhyde7 and @Takeshiozo for guessing the name of the owl. Archemedes is the owl from the movie Sword In The Stone. He was Merlin's owl.

Y/N P.O.V

It's finally time. It's the day I'm supposed to board the train to hogwarts. My mom and Mrs. Weasley talked and they told me how to get onto platform 9 3/4. Me and my mom were in bus now heading to kings cross station where we were supposed to meet up with the Weasley's

"How much longer?" I ask my mom jumping in my seat

"The answer hasn't changed from when you asked me 5 seconds ago." She answered. "You're really excited huh."

"Ya, I can't wait to learn magic, make new friends, and and-" I rabble

"Calm down Y/N. You can't go to hogwarts if you pass out of exhaustion." My mom says putting a hand on my shoulder

"Sorry mum, I'm just really excited."

"I can tell. I wish your dad was here to send you off to hogwarts."

"So do I mom, so do I."

After another 10 min that seemed like a few hours we were finally at kings cross. I looked around for Ron but couldn't find him anywhere so I just gave up. I ran in between platforms 9 and 10 since that's how you got to platform 9 3/4 and emerged to a red train with the hogwarts logo on the front. A second later my mom came running through.

"That's really scary." She says and I just nod my head in agreement since I'm still in awe of the station. "Hurry up now you don't want to miss the train."

"Ya you're right." I say and hug her

"Make sure to write okay."

"I will, bye mum."

"Bye Y/N"

After that she pets Archemedes and then goes home.

"You ready buddy." I say to Archemedes and he just chirps.

I put my stuff and Archemedes on the train and board it. I go down the rows looking for an empty compartment but found none. Eventually I came across a certain red haired boy who was sitting with another raven haired boy. I enter the compartment and Ron immediately greets me.

"Hey Y/N" he says

"Hey Ron" I say and sit down I look at the raven haired boy. He had emerald eyes and broken glasses. I decide to introduce myself."Oh sorry, I am Y/N Wyllt and who are you?"

"Hello, I'm Harry Potter." The raven haired boy said

"Hmm, I think I heard about you once." I say

"I've been told." He says but before I can say anything the trolley lady comes by.

"Anything off the cart dears." She say

"No thanks I'm good." Ron says while holding up a mushy bag with..... Ummm I don't even know.

I feel bad for Ron so I turn to the trolley worker and say "We'll take the lot." While holding out some money

*timeskip*

We were eating the candy and talking about our lives, well mostly Harry since me and Ron knew each other. Harry then picks up a chocolate frog

"Are these real frog?" He asks

"No just magic but it's the cards you really want. They have a famous witch or wizard on the back of them. I've about 500 myself." Ron explains

"how much chocolate has he eaten?" I think to myself
