Harry P.O.V( I know right, a new POV)

It was now winter and all the kids were making plans to go home. Me and Ron were playing wizard's chess while Y/N was watching us. Hermione then walked in.

"Knight to E5." I say and the knight piece moves to the specified square.

"Queen to E5." Ron says and his queen marches to the space with my knight on it but it smashes my knight with its chair. It sets the chair down and takes the knights place.

"That's totally barbaric." Hermione says shocked at the queen piece.

"Well that's wizards chess for you, to be honest I don't understand it too much either." Y/N comments

"See you've packed." Ron says to Hermione

"Yes, and I see you haven't." Hermione says back in her usual sassy tone

"Change of plans, my parents decided to go to Romania to visit my brother Charlie, who studies dragons there, so I am staying here." Ron answers

"Good, you can help Harry and Y/N then, they're going to the library to search on Nicholas Flammel." Hermione says while gesturing to us.

"But we've searched a hundred times." Ron whines

"Yes but not in the restricted section."Hermione whispered. "Merry Christmas." She then walked away

"I think we have been a bad influence on her." Y/N comments when she was out of earshot.

*time-skip*

I am awoken in the morning with Ron screaming my name.

"HARRY, HARRY, WAKE UP WE GOT GIFTS." He yells from downstairs

I get up and put my glasses on. I walk downstairs to Ron jumping in place and Y/N sitting and drinking what I think is hot coco. Ron sees me and opens the gift with his name on it and it has a sweater with a R on it.

"Merry Christmas Harry." Y/N says

"Merry Christmas." I reply back then turn to Ron. "What are you wearing?" I ask

"My mum made it for me, it seems that there is something for you, and Y/N as well." Ron replies as he pulls out 2 more gifts. "And it seems that you and Y/N also have other presents.

"I do?." I ask and Ron points to a gift so I look at the card and read it out loud. "Your father left it in my possession so I think it's time I returned it. P.S tell Mr.Wyllt to open the other one."

I look at Y/N and he just shrugs so I open mine first. It has an old looking cloak. I decide to put it around me and then the most shocking thing happens. Half of my body disappears. Ron and Y/N seem just as shocked.

"Woah I know what that is, it's an invisibility cloak." Ron comments

"Thanks for the obvious, but who could have sent you that?" Y/N says

"I don't know, there is no signature." I say while looking back at the letter.

"Well let's see if mine has anything." Y/N says

Y/N P.O.V(and we're back)

I take the card out of present and read it out loud.

"This belongs to you, you might not know what it is, but it'll be familiar. One day you'll know why that is." I read.

I open the present and pull out a necklace with a green gem.
