The Child Merlin book 1 (Ginny x Reader)

First day

Y/N P.O.V

It was now after the feast and we were being led to our dorms by Ron's brother.

"Gryffindors this way, keep up please." He says and we follow him to a tall room with multiple staircases. "This is the most direct part to the dormitories, and keep and eye on the staircases they like to change."

We kept on going until we reached a painting with an old lady in it, Percy said some words to it and we were let through. Now we were in the Gryffindor dorms. There was a fireplace with three sofas in front of it. There were also plenty of tables for people to study at and there were to pathways in the back.

"Boys are upstairs as to your left, girls same but to your right." Percy instructs. "You will see that all your belongings have already been brought up."

We all got ready to bed. I was really tired so in about 10 after laying down I fell asleep. I woke up in a strange dark area with mist on the bottom. Then a figure walks out from the darkness. When it is visible I see that it is an old man with grey hair and and a green robe and a staff with an emerald in it.

"Who are you, what is this place?" I ask backing away.

"Don't worry young wizard there is no danger here, and for who I am you will find out soon enough." The old man said.

"Why am I here?"

"I have called you here to tell you to be careful."

"Careful of what?"

"Sorry young wizard, I must go now good luck." He says while fading away

"Wait what am I supposed to be careful of? Please come back." But it's too late.

I am woken by the sun hitting my face in the morning. I look around and see everyone else is either getting ready or going downstairs, except Harry and Ron who are still sleeping.

"That was a really weird dream" I thought

I got ready and headed down to the dining hall where I was greeted by Neville and I decided to sit by him. After breakfast my next class was transfiguration with professor Mcgonagall. I decided to arrive a bit early and was greeted by an empty classroom except for a cat.

"What's a cat doing here." I wondered "and where is Mcgonagoll. She doesn't seem to be the type to show up late."Then I put two and two together

"Morning professor Mcgonagall." I said to the cat. The cat then turned into Mcgonagall who stood in front of me with a smile on her face.

"Well done Mr.Wyllt, 5 points for Gryffindor." She said. "If I may ask how did you know it was me?"

"Well first I thought that why would you have a cat in your classroom and then I thought that you are the type to show up early to classes, then I put 2 and 2 together and you're the cat." I answered

"Very observant, well done."

I then proceeded to grab a seat in the class and soon students started to pour into the classroom but still no Harry and Ron, they couldn't still be sleeping could they. Soon enough Neville came and sat next to me, after around half way through the class, the doors busted open, revealing Harry and Ron.
