A/n: This continuation is in no shape or form part of the series. This is completely my idea.

The sound of his cry tore through the halls. The sound was sickening.
He screamed, he begged, but they wouldn't stop. They nearly tore his soul apart.
His eyes, previously alive, showed no emotion. They were blank and empty.
He didn't have eyes, much less sight.
He didn't remember who he was...

Player's perspective.

Veteran's storytelling had left me shaken.
Allow me to explain.
I know that No-Visor is a legend, nothing more. Just a scary story for young children.
But, something about the story felt so real... So true.
Ever since that day, I've been having these nightmares. A small, helpless, brown-suited crewmate screamed for my help.
Yet, no matter how much I wanted to, I couldn't. My legs were shackled to the metal floor.
I watched him scream and shout, begging for mercy.
After one last cry, it all went silent.
I thought he had died. But moments later, he stood back up. We were alone in the room; it was just the two of us.
His figure had changed completely. The once brown-suited crewmate was a black-suited ghost without a visor...
He charges towards me, and I scream.
I've woken up to this dream every morning for the past month. No matter how hard I try, I'm never able to save him.
Captain notices my silence the next morning while we ate breakfast. He called himself my brother, and we promised to tell each other everything.
My sister yawns and sits next to me. "Good morning, Player."
I wave mindlessly, my mind still stuck on my nightmare.
"Player?" Captain says, snapping me out of my thoughts, "Are you okay...?"
I nod, my facial expression forming into a small smile. "Yeah, I'm fine..."
"Player, please help me!"
I start to sweat feverishly.
"I- I can't move!"
He looks at me, fear painted over his face. "Please..."
"Player...?"
He was overtaken by a handful of hideous no-visors. He screams.
"PLAYER!"
Snapping out of my thoughts completely, I blink. "Y-Yes, Captain?"
The whole crew was staring at me. "Uhh, dude, are you okay...?"
My sister's expression was worried. "Player, are you okay? Are you feeling well?"
"I- Y-Yes, I'm fine!"
Veteran enters the lobby, completely oblivious.
"Sup, home-slice."
The crew facepalms. He shrugs and says, "What, did I miss breakfast? I swear you all eat like bears..."
Captain excuses himself from the table and motions for me to follow him. Once we enter his room, he closes the door and locks it shut.
"Player, what's wrong?" He whispers, "And don't say nothing. You've been acting strangely for weeks!"
I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. "Cap, I've been having... Well, I've been having this one nightmare for months."
"What is it about, if you don't mind me asking?"
I tell him the legend of No-Visor. At the end of the story, he seemed a bit pale.
"Captain...?"
"H-Huh? Oh, uh, Player, that is just a story. Nothing more, I assure you."
Something about his tone of voice said otherwise...
"Alright," I say with a sigh. I had the feeling he was hiding something, but what?
~
After a couple of rounds, the crew decided to take a lunch break. Veteran plops down next to me, enjoying a ham sandwich.
"So, Player," he says, swallowing his mouthful, "What was that all about this morning?"
I sigh. "The No-Visor thing has been haunting my mind for weeks..."
He nearly chokes on his bite of ham. "Player, it's just a horror story! It's not real, it's just meant to scare kids! Don't be too worked up about it, buddy!"
"I know," I say with a sigh, "But something about it just feels so... real."
"How about we watch a movie. Maybe that'll help you forget."
My face morphs into a small smile. I couldn't ask for a better friend.
"Anything but a horror movie."
He pouts. "Awh, I was gonna suggest a movie about a bloodbath and zombies..."
~
Nightfall came quickly. By the time the third movie had ended, Veteran was fast asleep next to me.
"No-Visor..."
The same words had swept through the wind every night since the storytelling.
I trembled. It's just a legend, just a story, nothing more...
Right?
