He led a species of corruption.

His past life was extinct. He had no recollection of it whatsoever.

His army destroyed a city. A city that was once his home.

He watched them all corrupt with the sickness he brought upon them. He watched emotionlessly as they begged for mercy.

He was lost.

I woke up the next morning, my beanie draped to the right side of my head. I felt barely alive.

The lights had turned on automatically, signaling it was nine. I stood up weakly, repositioning my beanie before entering the kitchen.

Captain had already begun cooking, singing a tune to himself as he flipped a pancake. He didn't notice me for many moments.

"Player!" He exclaims, "You're just in time. Since you're my bestie, I made you your favorite! Chocolate chip pancakes!"

My mouth morphs into a small smile. "Thanks, Captain."

Was that another dream? No-Visor doesn't exist!

...At least, I hope so.

Suddenly, I started to feel a bit drowsy. Maybe I'll close my eyes for a just moment...

Suddenly, I heard the whispers again. I jolt awake, covering my ears. I begged for them to stop, but they only got louder and louder.

That's when I saw him. The one that has been haunting my dreams. The No-Visor.

"...Player?! Guys, what's wrong with him!?"

Veteran slaps me hard across the face, and my eyes pop open.

"Ouch, Veteran, what the hell?!"

Almost the whole crew surrounded me, worried looks painted on their faces.

"Player, are you okay?!" Gnome exclaims, "Veteran's slapped you dozens of times!"

On cue, my face started to pang.

I started to sweat uncontrollably. The sound of their voices echoed through me.

"No-visor, no-visor, we will make you one of us..."

"Player!" Dum exclaims, grabbing my trembling hand. "What's wrong, brother?"

I opened my mouth to speak, but no words came out. I continued to sweat and tremble.

"No-visor, no-visor, we will make you one of us..."

Then, out of nowhere, five different colored no-visors floated closer and closer. My arms and legs were chained, and my friends had disappeared.

"No, s-stop!" I shout, hopelessly tugging the chains. The no-visors didn't respond and floated closer and closer.

"No-visor, no-visor, we will make you one of us..."

A cold breeze swept through me, and I blinked a final time before the no-visors hopped on top of me.

My scream echoes for a moment.

Then, silence.
