My Sunshine

Chapter 2- Favorite

   Mikio was 2 when I started going back to school.I didn't want to leave him alone, so I asked the nice old lady next door to look after him.She happily agreed,and watched him while I went to school.Since I was only 5 when mom took me out of school, I didn't know much.My teacher's understood that my education was low so they helped me.

   I was a very quiet kid, so I didn't have any friends.I would carry a stuffed animal around, because of the trauma I've had in the past.Everybody was very respectful and knew I was hurt in the past and respected my boundaries.Except one kid Bakugou Katsuki,we were friends when we were younger but when I got pulled out of school we stopped talking.

   I was happily sitting at my desk writing down notes for class when the ash blonde boy smacked his hand on my desk. "Huh?" I looked up at him and he was furious. "C-can I-" He cut me off and said "Shitty nerd! Meet me in the back on the school..during lunch.." He walked away.

  The rest of the day went on, normally for the most part.It was lunch and I walked behind the school.It was covered by tree's so there was a lot of shade.It was kind of hard to see, from all the darkness.The I noticed the blonde sitting there chewing on his lunch.I slowly walked over and stood in front of him.I thought I was going to get hit, like normal. "Sit" That was all he said for the rest of our lunch period.I didn't dare talk, I didn't want to upset the blonde.He was taller than me to..and had a quirk.

  The bell rang, I started to get up but I got pulled back down. "I'm coming over to your house after school.." He stated then let go and walked off.I couldn't help but think about what he wanted with me.

  The school bell rang and we were dismissed.I tried to disappear into the crowd of students but that didn't work, he found me.We walked for 10 minutes in silence.I stopped in front of my house then walked to Miss.Clev's house.I looked back at him and he looked confused.

   We made it to her front door, I knocked on the door and she opened it holding Mikio.Before she could say anything Mikio got excited when he saw me and yelled "Mama!" He started doing 'grabby hands'.
I took him from Miss.Clev and thanked her.

  While we were walking back home,Mikio kept putting his head on my shoulder to look at Katsuki. "Hah..? What are you looking at mini nerd?!" He just stared at Mikio.I looked back to see Mikio sticking his tongue out at Katsuki.

   I walked in the house quietly, quickly pulling Katsuki and Mikio into my room.Once we were in the room, I heard a creak coming from the stairs. "Take Mikio into the bathroom and keep him quiet no matter what don't come out!" I whisper yelled, Katsuki just nodded and walked into the bathroom.He turned the light off and I heard Mikio cry but he stopped after a while.

   There was another creak on the stairs, and I knew it was her.She busted my door down and yelled at me.I knew she was drunk, she only yells at me when she is drunk if she isn't then she just ignores me. "I~Izuku-W-whaeres my b-bab~y?" She started walking around my room looking for Mikio.When she didn't find him she slapped me and walked out.

   I made sure she was completely gone before opening the bathroom door.I saw Katsuki on the floor holding Mikio tightly. "What the hell was that?!"
